The Jack Cole experiment being given first crack in the six has clearly not gone as well as we would have hoped. It is too early to right him off and it would be nice to see him in a better performing team to see how he aims up. It’s probably the right time to give Blaize a run of games.

Our attack is still in front of where it was in any premiership year

No one should be safe but that being the only change doesn't fix the issues.

I am all for him playing as part of several changes

Also the Australian side.......

Well Cleary seems to be injured to play in that but yes throw that in too

Funny how the NSW right and Australian right can get on the same page in defence

BUT the Panthers left issues are a centre not trusting those 2 guys

The biggest advantage is a Dolphins win today. Which looks likely.

Everyone saw it this afternoon with Parramatta. No team is going to keep losing. You get desperate and sick of losing.

If the Dolphins lose this game today then they will go ape shit next week against Penrith.

Like the Cowboys after they got their 1st win last week?

Cleary, Alamoti and Martin look at Tago like he's an absolute merkin every game. What are people like Lukey watching?

Some people I am convinced don't watch games. Prob just check scores on NRL.com

As hasn't been answered.

IF no individual could be responsible for the right side. Why was Turuva dropped?

Ivan has stuffed up or you can move individuals to improve things

Bit late to the party but just wanted to try and add to the discussion.

1. To my eye the amount of errors and penalties we give away has skyrocketed. We have completed at >80% only once this year against the storm and we looked decent even after Cleary got ruled out. This leads into my second point:

2. We are no longer a team who can defend multiple errors/penalties. If a team gets a whiff of our tryline we seem to capitulate pretty easily. (I note the ongoing right side defence discussion, noting that our left is slightly better). We can either fix our defensive frailties or the other option is that we absolutely, 1000%, MUST NOT give away easy penalties, 6 agains or line breaks because we simply can't defend them. I'd say the second option is probably a quicker fix than the first.

3. In saying that, as crap as we have been in ball handling, sides generally can't get up the field to our tryline without the massive freebies we've been handing them. When we get into our grind, it does still work, we just can no longer allow the opposition easy opportunities.

4. With our attack I feel it isn't that bad. We are still scoring points and left plenty of tries out there yesterday. (Smith at the line, Casey with 5 to go, Alamoti in the corner, probably could have got another in the first half going left if we didn't through floating interceptions) It could be better of course but isn't a major worry.

5. Essentially, our standards have dropped. Yes that can be because of fantastic players leaving, yes because we've been the best side for 5 years and it's hard to keep going, yes we have had several injuries to key players, yes CommBank stadium is a shithole that we should evacuate as soon as possible but if we want to make excuses then we have already lost.

In saying that (and this might be massive copium) if we play at our best, I still get the feeling we will win it in October. Big ‘IF’ but I can't see who can go up a gear if we reach the top. Just got to sort out our current issues ASAP.

Get the win this week against the dolphins, I don't care how we do it. Just get it done. After that we line up the roosters for some revenge and go from there.

(P.S. Chins is definitely an insane Tago hater but he is right, Tago needs a rest/drop, not every try is his fault, Cleary/Martin/Alamoti have made dumb errors too but some of his defensive decisions are mind blowing)

I'll start more problems here but they straight up remind me of Trump voters. Just won't admit they got it wrong

Fan forums work best when people are free to express there opinions in a constructive and objective manner.

In my opinion, a lot of the viewpoints or opinions put forward are too often agenda driven and not consistent with fostering genuine debate.

The non stop criticism directed towards certain players is relentless with the most vocal not offering potential solutions instead just comfortable in posting ad nausea about how bad a player is.

It doesn’t add anything to this fan forum to hear or read for the thousandth time from Chins that Isaac Tago is dogshit. I might share the same opinion, but I don’t feel the need to ram my opinion down the throats of our hurting fan base by making a thousand like or similar posts. It serves no purpose. Put forward solutions, opinions on alternatives, other options rather than just subjecting fans who are hurting right now to the barrage of negativity.

Why don’t you just listen. Even if you were right, saying it in every thread is just shit house form from you.

Imagine if you had a mate, that every time you had a beer with him, this is all he said…

Why do you want to be that guy?

I'd admit he was right, laugh then move on

Gotta make your own fun in here. We don't have any forum police.

Nauseating or not just post what you like. If it feels good do it.

Has Zero to do with Loyalty and everything to do with what is smart.

Our team needs stability.

We are defending like shit because they lack connection. So many changes so far this year on the back of a bad pre-season.

The only way to build that is to play the best team we have each week. The team Ivan thinks will win a grand final.

If Tago isn’t a premiership winning centre, who in our top 30 is?? Who are you bringing in that just turns this around?

Blaming individuals in rough patches like this is very short sighted.
I agree with you, too many changes already, blokes leaving and injury. We're playing like we don't know each other. Need to get the team settled.
