Not too concerned with those 3 getting dropped. We did it to Peachey when he played up last year. All in the name of club culture boys.

Still expecting a win. The club has fantastic depth. It will also give a chance for Martin and Cleary to run the show without Moylan. Should be interesting to see how attack goes this week.

Looking at the names on paper the team doesn't look terrible, but our attack and defence will struggle to deal with these changes. The little kicks behind the line from Reynolds and walkers speed and short passing game require good communication and understanding between players to defend.

It's a big ask and I worry we will be found out on the edges. The forwards will need to well and truly dominate if we are to have any chance. But after saying all that we definitely have the talent on field to do it.

I support the hard line stance from the coach but man it makes life tough for us this week and honestly puts our whole season in jeopardy, a few more losses can really hurt us.

They should not change captains unless the current captain relinquishes it voluntarily.

Id take the captaincy permanently off Moylan. The role doesn't suit him
I agree, if the captain cant lead by example and get the curfew right its time to find a leader that can.
A natural and committed leader doesn't get that wrong.

We are like the anti-Brisbane as far as player discipline goes.

As far as captain I think Moylan has been pretty good for a young captain of a young side up until this incident. If they decide to take it off him for this I wont argue but I don't think its necessary. The captain is as much about marketing and presentation as it is about on field leadership these days. Clubs use senior playing groups to drive culture and discipline within the squad not just a captain. The captain does the toss, speaks to the ref and goes to the press conference. Most captains don't even decide what to do from penalties these days, the coach will decide that and relay a message. Club captain is a ceremonial position more than anything. Moylan speaks well and sees the game better than most, I'd be leaning towards forgiving this little slip up on the proviso it never happens again rather than punishing him further.

If we want to become a consistent, highly successful team...

We should relocate to Melbourne or Brisbane and re-brand as the Storm or Broncos? Obviously I am taking the piss.

You'd have to go back to 1988-1991 to find what most would consider a consistently successful period. We won in 2003 and there was talk of dynasties but we quickly became irrelevant again.

I like the leadership Griffin is showing but really!? Fine them a weeks wages and donate it to charity something. Don't have them running around in reggies.

This is a results driven business as Cleary found out. If Griffin doesn't have us playing in a GF qualifier this season, it should be curtains for him.

He would want to be doing everything he can to get to us to 34 points which should see us in or around the top 4.

He wont be fired but if he cant get us to at least a prelim this year or next he is not the man to take us forward. We have a roster that should 100 percent be top four and we are already a good shot at missing that. We cant just keep accepting mediocrity and we are going to struggle to keep a roster that is this talented and deep beyond the next few seasons, it doesn't take ten years to build towards a premiership. The club has provided the best facilities and imo close to the best roster, if the team hasn't proven it has GF ability whos fault is it? The coach obviously.

Top 4 is gone imo. Need to make the 8 then the GF or Griffin should be sacked
Making a GF maybe not, but we should certainly be playing in a GF qualifier this season. No reason we don't' have the roster to do that.

It's too early to say whether this season has the feeling of a 2003 or a 2015. By the end of round 10 we will have formed a better picture.

We led the comp after 12 rounds and ran 4th in 2014 from a 3/3 start. Top 4 isn't gone but some improvement is needed against the good teams. It is very early days yet. I'm confident our attack will start to gel as the season goes on.

Merrin, Tamou, Latu and Yeo need to contribute to some points this week. Merrin and Tamou aren't on big money to be providing vanilla hit ups, Latu is in the team to provide impact and Yeo is in an attacking position.

I was going to point out we were doing the same alternation between wins and losses that we did at the start of the 2014 season (first 9 games: WLWLWLWLW then we went on a bit of a streak), but it looks like that could end this year at LWLWL...

Team has to stand up.
