Guys, that was a great win, how anyone can see it differently is beyond me.

Wrestling back momentum like that, in those conditions is not easy. It’s a great sign.

best of all, it will give the coaching staff heaps to work on.

Shout out to Blaize he was huge, that pass for Milky’s second try was epic. He was good in defence as well.

I was pretty happy with Going as well, gave away a couple of ruck infringements, but I thought he bought a bit of steel to the defence.

Personally I love a win like that, the boys will feel like they earnt that one.

Last week with game online Preston ran over the top of Balize and ended the chance of a comeback.

Last night Hammer was basicaly through at 22-18. Blaize got a hold of him from behind and ragdolled him.No euphemism intended.
But that was the game. He basically saved/won it with that play.

I gave it to him last week and he was good this week. I'm an inspiration.

Not sure about luck as more awareness he knew they where offside and heading for him
Hopefully he get Daly M points so I can redeem his card

The luck I was referring to was the charge down deflecting straight to us and by some miracle not knocking it on, then Tago's subsequent huge run.

Even the start of that play was a Cleary stuff up. You could see a mile away he was going to get charged down and yet he still kicked it. It has become a relatively frequent occurrence with Nathan in the last few years that he goes through with kicks that have a very high chance of getting charged down. It's a little strange to me.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. He had his poor moments defensively last night but that was a huge play. Also contributed that key bomb for the Milky aerial try. Definitely an improved performance from him on and off the ball.

We needed that win last night so we dont come back to the pack.Good effort to come back in those conditions.I thought Tago was strong the guy who is under pressure now has to be brian T'oo he was terrible strips dropped balls not even making metres and cant score anymore.I think he needs to be dropped when mclean gets back and put alamoti on his wing.

Years of being an all time legendary winger has got to earn him a LOT of grace, and hopefully that was just a one-off shocker, but his significantly diminished output is a concern. Many in here have long feared that his highly physical style will shorten his effective career.

Great to win, but not a great win. Leading 18-0 and then trailing 22-18, not good enough. Penrith seem to have taken the foot off the throat on a couple of occasions this year letting teams back in. Whilst they are the best defensive team so far, that was far from impressive.

This off X. It looks like Kenny (going from his insta page). has his leg in a cast. Looks still to be in hospital.

Leg will need pinning too. That you would imagine be done in Sydney, as soon as he's fit to fly. Or they may choose to drive him back, if flying is an issue.

And yes I know: My older brother calls me 'Penrith's oldest groupie'.....A title I'm quite happy with.

That is a great win.

Having lived in Darwin for several years, no amount of conditioning can really prepare you for the 30C 95% humidity, with a feels like 42C.
But but but it’s only 30 degrees. You sweat constantly. I used to take spare undies because a short walk anywhere and your gooch sweat will have soaked into your seat.

hopefully it doesn’t take too much out of us but for those not used to it - I’m sure we will be flat next weekend.
After ten years in Singapore and Thailand I know exactly what it’s like. You sweat stood still and feel you need to shower six times a day. Obviously they are Young and fit, but it takes two weeks for full acclimatization. They’ll feel wrung out today. No matter how much you drink, you feel you need more.

A great performance from both teams considering the conditions. You could see on that field goal attempt, only one Dolphin had the energy to chase, the rest looked on absolutely rooted.

Teams always lift against us. It’s a privilege we have earned after become an elite team. We just had the 1% extra that makes a good team, great.

Farnsworth, Katoa and the Hammer are absolute guns, they will do that to any team.

Stopping them and then finding a way to win is a very hard thing to do.

Why do so many say, “We’ve taken the foot off” when in reality, the other team just played much better.

We aren’t going to smoke every team in this comp. I think we need to give the Dolphins a lot more credit and in turn, be very happy we were able to dig our selves out.

I agree. To'o's stat numbers were quite good last night. I think ATM he's a walk up starter in the team.

I'm all for giving Lussick minutes but we haven't seen 80 from him yet.

Cogger filling in the minutes isn't a permanent option either. I think there will be plenty of scenarios where a new face is required.

So Going has played a bit of 9 I believe. Then after that we are playing Billy Scott. One of those two needs to be on the bench until Kenny returns.

Happy we banked 2 points. Tago at the end there was nice to see. He used to do that kind of thing regularly, good to see it’s still in him. Off the bench and fresh having him do that would change things up.
Apart from that a bit of good and a bit of bad, given the conditions I’m not getting wound up about it

I agree and been calling for it all year..

Yes he can really play hooker but if lussick is as fit as they say he is then we should be able to get big mins out of him.

Ivan really needs to think about bring him on with 20 or 25 to go and purely playing a middle forward role.

A fresh tago coming on last night with 20 to go couldve blown the game open.

Hes to good to be in cup imo.

Kenny is a huge huge loss.. his defence and service is pretty much the best for a nine in the comp..

Only positive if is if we can keep winning with out him he will be fresh for the back end of the year..
