Anyone who doesn't think the salary cap is a joke is kidding themselves.
They had a few missing through injury, hia and concussion today and still had more than enough squad depth to wipe the floor with us while we are missing Hunt and a few others but have nowhere near enough to cover it.
Our squad as a whole needs some serious work applied to it and a rebuild.

It's all shit.
3rd party payments,
Even playing field its not.
Chooks souths,100% advantaged.

I think the whole team played poorly it is hard to single out anyone really other than maybe JP. We were very compressed in defence and couldn't adjust when they spread it. It all started with getting beaten in the forwards. When we had precious ball we didn't put them under enough pressure. We look exhausted, even more so and earlier than the Mary era. Lets hope this is just a speed bump.

JP got injured early on and was lucky to stay out there, he could hardly run at one stage.
His high shot was purely accidental, Tedesco pivots and falls but JP will probably get 3 weeks off because it looked spectacular and Tedesco is a favourite NRL son. You go in to tackle someone who's upright and if they slide or fall suddenly it's really not your fault there's head contact, you can't just disappear, not that logic seems to come into it any more or intent.

Still lucky not to be sent IMO; changed the game two tries while he was off and our forwards couldn’t dominate.

The way we are playing we would loose all those games we played this if we replayed them .
Has the new players Josh, and Billy Disrupt our team Harmony ?
and of course todays late changes hasnt helped .
Just hope we turn it around again next week

I'm seething over that loss. We usually use this game as a marker for the season and Griffin completely changes the dynamic of this team then we completely crumbled.
I hate to say it but it completely deflated any hopes I had for finals this season. It's crazy that 2 weeks ago we dared to believe this team could actually achieve something in 2021.

Our next aquasition shouldn't be a player but a current official from Rorters / Souths /Melbourne who can advise or lead us to how we play the salary cap game . We would also need WIN to pull Their finger out and provide the " independent sponsors " . Agree that their is 3 comps at present, top 6 , middle 6 and bottom 6 .Our best result the next couple of years is middle 6 unless we radically change the way we play " the game "

Too many changes for such a big occasion. The forwards look gassed around the 30 minutes mark - same as last week. I don't think we have the cattle to maintain that style of game. Based on today's performance, the only back I'd keep is Rava. The rest were ordinary.

The backs didn't see any ball until late in the game when Clune was given more ball and went wide to link with Dufty - which should have been happening all game - the Roosters are vulnerable out wide.

For an Anzac day game, that was embarrassing. From the kick off.

I can handle losing a game, but we were toothless.
Spot on Bro.....we all hate losing but tbh I was embarrassed with our commitment.....its a worry how in the last 2 games the opposition has just waltzed upfield everytime they got the ball.......having said that we looked completely buggered after 15 mins....I knew we would struggle because the Roosters had an xtra 2 days off but not to that extent...except for some early attack in the first 10 mins we never looked threatening

Yes and based on the performances against The Knights and in particular The Eels I posted that we were the real deal so far this season....Mmmmm.....have to agree we need to turn it around again and quickly otherwise we will just drop right off.....

The high tackle wasn't the reason more the dropped bomb, and was just all round ineffective. He hasn't played first grade for a while, was injured and it was a bad team performance but he was our worst back imo regardless of all those reasons. Either way it doesn't really matter he will be out for a month and in that time I suspect Max Feagai will cement his spot anyway.

My goodness I get it we are all disappointed but let’s get some perspective here. We just played one of the heavy weights of the Comp. 7 weeks ago we were favourites for the spoon. We had chances in that first 35 minutes to dominate but yes missed Hunt and also I believe someone like Sullivan.
Will probably have 3 guys out next week with suspensions. Tigers are due so could go either way.
Go the Saints.
