Stability is one thing but there is a consistent theme around a few guys. Across a few years

Martin needs to wear his Origin jersey under his Panthers one.

That is one example from across the years

He was good against the Sharks but I can't remember the Melbourne game so much.

We haven't played a 'good' team in a while. I'm curious to see how we perform then. 0 errors in the first half against Melbourne.

The gulf between our best and worst performances this year is huge.

That's not true they're going to the centre/winger a fair amount. If anything they're far too side to side

Correct. We are and its to slow and teams no its coming and are prepared.

Insaid a few posts back we need to play back more through the ruck in behind the markers.

Drag the middles and edges in before we spread the ball.

Casey McLean had the least runs from any back on either side for the last 2 games.

11 runs v Cows
14 v Dolphins

I agree they are trying to go wide but it is too slow, So we go back inside.

We went to Moses for a nothing play on the last on the weekend.

That sums it up well

Sharks a game that everyone said had a GF build up, So of course he played well.

Well every team is Infront of us on the ladder now, So no reason to not fire up

Martin’s been like this the last 3 seasons though, while Garner has been consistently good for the same period. Martin got benched for the first time in a long time, so maybe IC is finally seeing what we’re seeing.

I think Garner is nailed on to be in the centres this week and probably deserves a real opportunity to make it his own as opposed to a stop gap solution.

I normally hate backrowers in the centres but Tago simply needs to go we can't keep leaking points like we are.

I’ll confirm my replacements later.

No, Laurie won’t be in the side.

Maybe even move Nate to 5/8 for a game to freshen things up.

Tough times call for tough decisions.

Even him on an edge with Martin off the bench might still be worth a shot. Got to do something to stop the rot

Not sure why Jesse has slipped so far down the pecking order, I would have him on the Wing straight swap for Jenkins. Tago needs to be on the bench as Backrow and Centre cover. Talagi or Cole in the 6 the other on the bench. Somehow need to give Patea minutes also, he needs to get time in First grade to get better.

And a big no to Schneider as well. I don’t care how well everyone thinks he can tackle, he stifles our attack every time he to he’s the ball. Totally keyless in First Grade.

Schneider is a plodder but that's ok. Edwards trying to play like a prime Moylan is a far bigger issue. What the f**k is Ivan thinking there? Dyl has zero attributes to be that guy

What happened?

Roosters enforcer Spencer Leniu has taken a fresh swipe at Johnathan Thurston after claims he abused the NRL legend during a spiteful clash with the Broncos on Friday night.

Leniu and Thurston reportedly had two dramatic confrontations during the Roosters’ 26-16 win over the Broncos, with the altercation stemming from the racism scandal that involved the prop at the start of the 2024 season.

In a post on Instagram, Leniu denied approaching Thurston then launched a freshed attack at the Maroons great.

“I never wanted to talk to JT. He kept trying to come speak to me,” part of the Leniu’s caption said.

“Lad (I don’t care) that you hate me for what I did. But don’t come up to me asking me questions like we’re (all good).”

“Don’t be two face (sic). Hate me lad I’m ‘eetswa’ (sweet) with that.

“But don’t be fake. “I hate fake people.”

Leniu allegedly called Thurston a “f***wit” after coming from the field with about 20 minutes remaining on Friday night, while the former Cowboys halfback was commentating for Channel 9.

Nine Newspapers reported that during another clash after full-time, Leniu allegedly called Thurston a “f***ing c***”.

Thurston reportedly responded: “What’s your problem?”

Broncos star Ben Hunt was seen trying to intervene during the exchange after full-time, while Roosters forward Siua Wong also reportedly tried to curb Leniu.

Thurston later refused to enter the Roosters’ sheds for post-match interviews having been rattled by the incident.

Code Sports reported that Thurston waited at Suncorp Stadium for almost an hour to speak with Trent Robinson with the NRL legend complaining to the Roosters coach about Leniu’s behaviour. Robinson is understood to have defended the Roosters prop.

Veteran journalist Andrew Webster revealed on Saturday League Kick Off that the NRL don’t plan on investigating the matter unless a complaint is made by Thurston or Channel 9.

“I don’t know whether the NRL will look at it,” Webster said.

“I’ve spoken to Andrew Abdo this morning and he said that unless there’s a complaint from Channel 9 or Johnathan Thurston, there’s not much they can do.
