Our intensity drops once JFH comes off. Eisenhuth is a plodder really, we need to lift the tempo

Massive Plodder and Spencer is young and 1 or 2 yrs away from being consistent. Martin is theno ly bench forward who you can count on providing some impact.
May just plods along. He doesn't add any spark. Just gives Korisau a rest.

Sorensen doesn't have to do much more than look like he wants to be there and not miss important tackles to top Eisenhuth.

May won't and shouldn't be dropped for Kenny, silly stuff.

Brisbane, Knights and Manly have all put their best performance from an effort point of view going up against us.

If Brisbane played with the intensity they played against us every week they would make the 8.

Cleary is the main difference in regards to our edges defensively. He isn't a big target like all the other halves in League defensively so it makes a huge difference for the centre/winger. Crichton's improved a bit but he's always been a good defender (in general) just has Cleary there jamming people to make them play early and give him more time to make tackles.

Jarome isn't bad it's just almost every half in the Rugby league is a big target when they're defending besides like Cleary and Wighton.

Very even. Brown brings far more energy and aggression. Yeo has better feet.

Yeo is ball player. He starts so many scoring plays. Brown just runs hard. Yeo gets good running metres plus is another ball player out there, that makes him such a big threat and he is a great defender, his tackle efficiency is much higher than Browns and he has made a lot more tackles than brown so he works harder also(they average the same running metres per game,Yeo gives more post contact metres though). Its no where near even and this isnt bias, be factual about what they bring and Yeo is the best lock in the game and it is daylight second.

PCMs are very even.
Average run meteres very even
Offloads Brown 30-6 last season
Tackles Yeo is better yes. He makes more and misses less.

But your missing a few things. Brown does run fast correct. Its like he is shot out of a rocket. This puts the defense on back foot. He also brings aggression and energy and fires a team up. Does Yeo do this? Maybe I am wrong but nobody in your pack does.
Its very even between the two players. Yeo may edge him but its a coin flip.

Penrith pack was rolled by Brisbanes. Manlys very average pack held there own and Newcastle's pack quite easily matched yours. Its your halves and backs that are making the difference imo.

I said this 12mths ago. Toò behind Cleary and Luai is your most important player. Maybe some of you are just starting to realise it.

Yeo has 100 more post contact metres over 8 games. Yeo is easily the better player IMO, sorry take this parra bias elsewhere. Brown is a one trick pony, he runs hard. Who cares how fast he runs? Yeo makes more metres and post contact metres than BRown he bends the line more for sure and he is more skilled and offers genuine ball playing and he is a much better defender, its not close.

And less tackle breaks this season..... He plays more mins. He has to. Who will you bring on? Bar Spencer and Martin there is little.

Yeo shits on Brown from great heights.

Yeo is a much better defender. Honestly a shitload better. 5 games this year with no missed tackles, a couple of games with 2 misses. Brown has games where he has missed nearly as many tackles as Yeo all season.

Yeo has a try. Brown has none.

Yeo makes more metres, with Brown having made 25% less post contact metres... Meaning his tough carries go f**king nowhere. How is 400m vs 300m very even? It's a landslide victory to Yeo.

Yeo is also a bigger attacking point for Panthers. His numbers could be much higher but he helps set up plays with great effect.

Brown isn't a bad player and his intensity is great to watch. But how effective is it if he's making less metres and missing loads more tackles?

May, Spencer, Eisenhuth or Martin can all play in the middle, im not sure what you are on about there but we are discussing how Yeo is clearly better than Brown. Are we going to hold playing big minutes against Yeo now are we? LOL f**k outta here with that rubbish. Being able to play big minutes is just another reason Yeo is the better player.

He plays more minutes, makes more tackles with an effective rate of 95 percent compared to Browns 87 percent. He is the leader of the best pack in the game mate. Brown brings some energy and offloads or breaks some tackles, he is a good player, no where Yeo's skill level or impact. Our whole attack revolves around Yeo, he plays big minutes because he can and he is probably the most important player we have after the halves. There is no drop off in Yeo's performance, he handles the minutes he gets.

Huth was a (or the) major player in that 20mins post half time when we were continually under the pump in our own half. Defensively he made some crucial try saving tackles. That dirty work gets overlooked while Leniu gets lorded for breaking a couple of tackles in his 8 minute stint...

You can't have a team that's all out attack. Huth is the definition of plod but he plod's effectively and his plod is needed to balance our side.
