What we do know for a fact is that Griffin has taken a squad universallly rated as one of the best in the comp this year and turned them into wooden spoon contenders, that is what we do know.

I thought last year was our learning year.tough losses. Finals experience. But we are nowhere near as good this year with a better roster and more experience.

(a) Always announce that we are going to handily beat next week's opposition regardless of form/selection/injury
(b) Always assume that things are going to get better because that's what things are supposed to do, aren't they?
(c) If someone criticizes the coach, it's the players fault. If someone criticizes the players, it's refs fault. In fact, it's pretty much always the refs fault. Make sure to emphasize this on the match day threads.

I do agree that if you go to the game, you should support the players 100% - there is no point sitting there grumbling. But outside of that, part of being a supporter is healthy discussion about the direction the club is going and the on- and off-field decisions. To tell someone to piss off and support another club when they do this, however, does not seem to be a very open-minded thing to do.

Yep... and the club had marketing campaigns building up the hype. So its not like the fans randomly decided to have unrealistic expectations. The club. Players. Bookies. Media etc. all hyped us. Then we dish out this softest pea hearted efforts we have in years. Anyone that cant see how we are throwing away a great opportunity is blind.

Griffin isnt the man to lead us to a premiership. He could be the one who ruins our premiership window though. The rumours of guys like Edwards and TMM leaving. If they come true it ruins our ability to find a premiership spine.

Believe it or not, this slump could be character building, this year, next year or the year after. At some time in the future the team will come good. I'd like to think it will be next game but that's just me and my blind optimism. It hurts me like crazy to see us play badly, but I like to look at the positives. We could have beaten Parramatta if we'd held onto the ball in the latter stages , I am convinced of that. They were begging to be beaten. I feel the turnaround is near.

Your unwavering support is to be commended along with your ability to be so mellow about what we are doing on the paddock. I guess that comes with being more seasoned than most on here.

The thing is though Mr Frog we are NOT in a rebuilding phase of any sort. Our rebuilding phase was arguably winding down 3 years ago and certainly ended 2 years ago.

This is a results driven business. When sides are going well, stadiums are filled. When sides are playing like a bunch of incompetent dodos, not as many bums are on seats.

Sacking Griffin might cost us several hundred grand, but missing out on finals and poor crowds will hurt and cost us more.

I too agree with TheFrog. He has never said that he is happy with the situation, neither am I. Alike TheFrog, it gets annoying when over opinionated halfwits say that if you don't agree with them, you must like what's happening. I am sure that I speak for many when I say that what's happening is not good at all. But unlike a few loudmouths on here, I don't claim to know all the answers. And because I don't have the answers, I don't claim that anyone disagreeing with me me is a moron, or is not a supporter or knows shit as the loudmouths have. Like TheFrog, I just get sick of the over the top ballshit of 3-4 loudmouths on here.

I would also suspect that there are many fans feel much the same.
