Dragons team: 1. Tyrell Sloan 2. Mathew Feagai 3. Moses Suli 4. Zac Lomax 5. Max Feagai 6. Talatau Amone 7. Ben Hunt 8. Michael Molo 9. Moses Mbye 10. Blake Lawrie 11. Ben Murdoch-Masila 12. Jack Bird 13. Jack de Belin 14. Jacob Liddle 15. Jaiyden Hunt 16. Toby Couchman 17. Josh Kerr 18. Zane Musgrove 19. Jayden Sullivan 20. Billy Burns 21. Viliami Fifita 22. Sione Finau

Analysis: Anzac Day hat-trick hero Tautua Moga (shoulder) has been replaced by Max Feagai who will play on the opposite wing to his twin brother Mathew. That’s the only change to their brave performance against the Roosters as Michael Molo starts at prop after being a late addition to the pack on game day.
Mybye's role at 14 is to cover several spots from fullback to halves. having him on for 60 fairly ineffective minutes means we have lost a utility for the backs. taking 10 minutes of heat of Liddle at the start ok, but even then, from what i saw on highlights at least one of his ineffective tackles led to tries. A mobile forward could do the dummy dummy half for the opening 10.

Brooks will look like an origin rep against the Saints. Like he did when he played his first game in the NRL which was against Saints. That is the game I am dreading. Saints only just beat them due to a dumb error last year when their player touched the ball before it went past 10 mtrs off the kickoff.

These next 2 games would be awesome to have Sloan, Amone, Bud and Hunt at 9. That spine would carve up the Dogs and Tigers and imagine the confidence it will bring. Do you think we will ever see this spine? It will be a shame if we don't.

He is just so desperate to make Mbye relevant but hasn’t worked out that Mbye is a better fit at 14 for this lineup. Primarily there as a relief for Liddle (20 min max) and a handy person to have as backup for 3,4,6 or 1 in case of injury. But no, slot him in at 9 and leave him on way too long, lose and repeat.

Everyone here knows this is exactly the kind of game we lose. And Griffin continues to dig his own grave with woefully bad team selections. Amone and Mbye again. FFS.
I’m also staring at next round when we give the Tigers a huge sniff of winning their first game for the year.
Wests game is the Magic Round. Can't remember the Dragons ever winning a game in the Magic Round, so a loss against the Bulldogs could mean two loses against potential wooden spooners.

Definitely not with the mule we have picking the team. Surely there must be someone in the football department at the Dragons who can override Hook's selections. Hook is a dead man walking anyway, so somebody like Haran should tell the stubborn stick in the mud Hook to try that combo you say that would be awesome Slippery.

I cant remember the last time I actually commented on a game we were about to play with any sort of confidence that we would win. Classic example this game, they are 16th on the ladder, full of injuries, and I have no confidence that we will win. This coaching saga is really starting to wear thin, the selections are diabolical, I'm really in a state of who cares with this game, my wish is that Sloan keeps improving.
