Can't wait for this one.
SFS on a freezing, wet Friday night
Have my tickets in Bay 1, Seat 1 of the Ikea Stand
Safe from Benji's f**ked up flick passes and kicks out on the full

Benji is doing himself no favours if he keeps it up. Surely the board must be wondering what to do with him as his contract is up- immaterial of what Humphreys thinks.

Wish his contract was up, runs out 2015 and son of Big Kev and the board are in the process of trying to signing up for years to come. All I can say their must be a logical reason for it that is not football related, and dont give me the marketing thing, Benji's profile is dropping faster than Labours chances of being re elected.

Not hard to find a reason or two why we have the spoon in one hand

Sauaso Sue will start for Wests Tigers, Jack Buchanan will start off the bench

azsportza, what are you on?

Giving young Sauaso Sue a start in the 13, he only made 24 tackles last week (according to official stats) Blair made 18 so I'd stick with Blair

In running meters he made 49 and Blair made 41 so again, it has to be Blair

Seriously though, I hope you are on the money and this might be the making of not only young Sauaso but also Potter. It might be the wake up call to the likes of Blair as well that this new coach might just reward a kid who has a go.

Based on what the club has put out today. Sue will be starting at prop. As a result Buchanan would move to the bench, since Woods isn't going to lose his starting spot.

Ben Cummins and Phil Haines have been named as our referees. Jason Robinson and Matt Rodwell named as our video referees

Reasonably happy with that side, however I would replace Spence with Ava.S. IMO Spence looks well out of his depth and I can't understand how he is playing FG, even with all of our injuries.

Don't understand Siro being named at 7 when everyone knows Benji will be the halfback but whatever.

Sounds glorious. I'm meeting a mate from the UK at the Clock after work on Friday - might just stay there, even if he is a gooner.

All things considered. I'm actually pretty happy with this team. As long as Blair pulls his bloody finger out. Not holding my breath though.

At first I was all like....WTF why is Sironen at halfback? Then I realized that putting Benji at 1/2 was just a test. Eventually Anasta will come back and slot in at 1/2 and then by start of 2015 young brooks will be ready.

What I like about this is that when Anasta comes back they can put Sironen in with Brooks in NSW cup and let them form a combo together. Regardless of whether Benji stays for longer, the future halves combo will be Sironen and Brooks.

Its going to be a tough couple of years but hopefully by 2015 we will see a solid spine of Tedesco, Marshall (or Siro), Brooks, Farah

I don't know why Potter is persisting with Spence. He offers nothing at this stage of his career. I'm weary of being too critical given his youth but he hasn't displayed any promise as yet. Besides, he is so far off the pace of first grade and his fatigue will be exploited by opposition sides. A better solution is to relegate him to state cup to allow him to develop his game and stamina.

The backrow as a whole is pretty weak. Fulton tries his heart out but lacks impact, Blair is a bludger and Pettybourne is spent after two hit-ups. That leaves Woods to shoulder most of the responsibility again. Hopefully Sue, despite his inexperience, can provide able support. From what I've seen of him so far I've been very impressed.

Sironen is named at 6 and Marshall at 7 from what I read.

That is the way I read it. Anyway - another conspiracy down the drain.

As for the team - I think that is a great looking side with what we have to work with. I wouldn't choose Spence and I would play Blair in tight but Pettybourne goes a lot harder than Blair so I assume he will be playing as a 3rd prop. Sue has looked great. I think he goes a little bit harder than Buchanan but he hasn't had the same amount of time on the field.

Our backs I think are about as good as what we can put on the field but geez we need some impact out wide. Hopefully Simona will do the job. I pray that Reddy can cover Utai when the bomb goes up.

We have a shit load of holes though. Robbie needs to play dummy half and forget about getting into the halves. Benji needs to be a calm, mistake free 7, Sirro needs to start to provide something at 6, Tedesco needs to kill it and our forwards need to make an impact.

Does anyone seriously think our pack is capable of matching the Sharks'?
