If that’s the case and Whare is ruled out, you would think that Naden shifts to centre and Staines to the wing?

I think so. Staines is a fullback whos been highly rated coming through the juniors.

Unless an insider can set me straight I don't trust these injuries in the backs and so I suppose I don't trust Zane's too. I just would have thought they'd rest Tamou first, but then I suppose they might have wanted to match the Sharks starters and save Tamou's rest for another week against weaker opposition.

Probably hurt it getting trampled in the push and shove at the end. Could definitely be that though.

Edit: Agree Dyl has been going really well. He had costly knock in the first half which he still seems to come up with sometimes but outside that he has been great.

Titans in two weeks might see Tamou rested then. I think Ivan all but confirmed Mansour could've played against Souths. Not sure he would rest someone to give Staines a run though(if he is playing).

Yeah he's been impressive. Rarely dominated in tackles and only the one really bad error.

His ability to poke through a tackle and fall on his chest has been awesome this year since his return.

By the end of the game his head would have hurt more than ankle lol

I watched staines highlights the other day, he is tall and rangy, seems to have pretty good speed. Fullback skills will help if the decide to do the old bomb the rookie trick.

As much as I like seeing the young kids come through it adds a lot of pressure on the team.
If Edwards is out it will be a big blow.

That 17 is just dripping with talent and with a better sprinkling of experience than we’ve had for a long time. Zane has been fantastic but Leniu has game breaking ability which we need so would love to see him claim that spot.
