my take is that if you aren't the best player in your position in NZ you are relegated to also ran in status and finances
Any talent coming through the juniors? Is Gus's masterplan and pathways producing anything ?
Would love the Warriors to keep thier talent and hopefully produce the next Lauatiti or Wiki
That’s just the thing, walking into an all blacks guernsey is no simple thing and it’s even harder for someone swapping mid way through their career. If you can’t make that jump then financially it’s better to be playing league.my take is that if you aren't the best player in your position in NZ you are relegated to also ran in status and finances
The equivalent would be players like Adam Reynolds and Mitchell Moses getting paid not that much because they are only the 4th or 5th best in their position
Warriors building a team of initials. With this news and the momentum the Warriors are gaining. You'd think this next 3-4 years will be the Warriors best chance to snare their first premiership. Pretty good quality and experience mixed with youth.

I think you might be just slightly under valuing the ABs and the Wallabies for that matter, with back lines that would probably all find a gig in the NRL.There’s no way the union players in the ab are more talented than he is
guys like Wendell sailor and lote tuqiri used to easily match it with far better all blacks sides than they have today
the all blacks literally play tests against the wallabies and most of them wouldn’t make first grade
Tom Wright, one of the Wallabies best, couldn't get a run with the Sea Eagles, so No, the Wallabies backline couldn't get a gig in the NRL....the ABs on the other hand would all be successfull, Warbrick is killing it and it would have been great to see how Stevenson and Pereana would have gone in the NRL had they have signed with the Dolohpins and RoostersI think you might be just slightly under valuing the ABs and the Wallabies for that matter, with back lines that would probably all find a gig in the NRL.

Tom Wright did get a run at Manly, but as a 5/8 or FB, look who he was behind when they were full strength.Tom Wright, one of the Wallabies best, couldn't get a run with the Sea Eagles, so No, the Wallabies backline couldn't get a gig in the NRL....the ABs on the other hand would all be successfull, Warbrick is killing it and it would have been great to see how Stevenson and Pereana would have gone in the NRL had they have signed with the Dolohpins and Roosters
S.burgess managed to somehow play centre in a rugby union World CupI think you might be just slightly under valuing the ABs and the Wallabies for that matter, with back lines that would probably all find a gig in the NRL.
and Talakai played centre for NSW.S.burgess managed to somehow play centre in a rugby union World Cup
England rugby is a different beast, they love big plodders in their back lines, probably because their outside backs barely see the ball as it usually gets kicked away by the halves.S.burgess managed to somehow play centre in a rugby union World Cup
Tom Wright played 4 games and only got those games due to Manly being depleted by injuries, he hardly had "a gig" in the NRL...and yet he's one of the Wallabies best. If you think anyone in the Wallabies could make it in the NRL that's your opinion and fair enough. Personal I don't think any of them would be anything more than fringe first graders...just like Tom was.Tom

He joined the Brumbies, but that’s not to say he couldn’t have gotten a NRL contract somewhere else.
Don't forget NRL 'superstars' Shontayne Hape, Lesley Vainikolo and Ben Te'o played a combined 35 tests for England Rugby....I'm still confused how 3 Kiwi league players became mainstay selections for England UnionS.burgess managed to somehow play centre in a rugby union World Cup
Michael Hooper would walk into any NRL squad.Tom Wright played 4 games and only got those games due to Manly being depleted by injuries, he hardly had "a gig" in the NRL...and yet he's one of the Wallabies best. Yeah I have to agree with you. Just because at a young age he left a club with mainstays and was offered a good paying gig for someone that saw his talent, doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have made a good addition elsewhere.Michael Hooper would walk into any NRL squad.
Tom Wright came to Manly from Rugby initially, he deserved more of a crack and most Manly fans were fuming he was never picked or given a proper run. Only have to look at who the coach was at the time, the same moron that told Hynes he’d never make first grade.
Why is the invitation only open to Floodwaters?Hey Floodwaters, leave a laughing emoji to this comment if you like to be gaped and filled with warm man yoghurt.
