posted this in the Warriors forum but probably big enough news for general discussion. Didn’t really see this coming (at least not at the Warriors), the club has done a good job locking it in without the rumour mill going crazy.

Such an interesting signing. CNK has been amazing there tho. I've always like to see RTS have a crack at centre. Maybe now he will.

If he misses on the all blacks is it possible for a return this year ?
Would probably be up to the Warriors and RTS himself, and would have to be after the Super Rugby season finishes- the last round of regular season super rugby is in the first week of June so he could potentially play in July.

With this news and the momentum the Warriors are gaining. You'd think this next 3-4 years will be the Warriors best chance to snare their first premiership. Pretty good quality and experience mixed with youth.

01. RTS (NZ International / Golden Boot 2019 / Dally M 2018)
02. DWZ (NZ International)
03. CNK (NZ / Cook Island International)
04. Montoya (Fiji International)
05. Kosi
06. TMM (NZ International)
07. SJ (NZ International / Golden Boot 2015)
08. AFB (Tonga International)
09. Egan
10. Barnett
11. Ford
12. Niukore (NZ / Cook Island International)
13. Harris (NZ International)

14. Walker (Australia International / State of Origin NSW)
15. Tevaga
16. Curran
17. Ale

You've got to give Roger props for giving it a go, he took an enormous pay cut ( roughly 600k per year less ) to go over, he played 3 games for the All Blacks having not played Rugby since school, pretty good achievement I rekon.

I wonder why he has announced this now ? So close to this year's RUWC, maybe he'd given up hope of making the cut ?

This will give more fuel to the Rugby blow hards that Union is a superior sport than league, although I have seen a few Union writers and commentators say he's talents are not utilised in the centres and should be playing Wing.

Any talent coming through the juniors? Is Gus's masterplan and pathways producing anything ?
Would love the Warriors to keep thier talent and hopefully produce the next Lauatiti or Wiki
