Rugby Australia to target top NRL talent

Realistically 18 or younger if they don’t have a very strong rugby league junior background

He’s going to be a liability in defence and the speed of the game he will struggle hugely with

he will be lucky to play more than 15 mins in a spell if he’s not hiding on the wing in defence

Pretty much every league player that goes to rugby ends up playing for the Wallabies inside 12-18 months lol even players they wouldn't play rep in league... says alot about there code.

took less money to come to rugby league
Has never played the sport
Jason ryles put the idea in his head

It'll be interesting because quite a few League players have gone over and took a spot away from a actual union player in the international side pretty much straight away.

And that`s why I wouldn`t let Michael Cheika anywhere near our game.
Coached Lebanon in the rlwc
Article in today's tele the Tigers have signed junior Wallabies captian Onitoni Large.

Lol the Wallabies can't even keep thier junior captions, this is where the battle of the codes is being won by League.

Says something doesn`t it, our two last placed teams in our compo signing 1) a 23 year old Wallaby just scratching the surface of his potential and, 2) a kid many say is the best 16 year of either rugby code in the country.
These blokes aren`t coming over to play in glamour clubs, they`re coming over to try their luck at a couple of regular cellar-dwellers. That says a lot.

Yeh let's not yet the Union guys spin that we are signing there juniors, who have never played RL before.

There are people who insist that Hamiso is a Union junior, for example.

Our game, won the battle to sign the best kids about 20 years ago.
