Argentine politics has been mainly right wing psychos since they sheltered Nazis after WWII.
Probably because Union has Nazi history or Vichy at leastArgentine politics has been mainly right wing psychos since they sheltered Nazis after WWII.
Touring rugby teams are mostly unaffected. They do get to meet a lot of local women though…
Though that's true to an extent, particularly pre-80s, it's also way more complex than that.Argentine politics has been mainly right wing psychos since they sheltered Nazis after WWII.

Rugby star? The only Rugby stars are existing Rugby League players. Union doesn't have any star power
So there isn’t one person playing rugby union who is a star?Rugby star? The only Rugby stars are existing Rugby League players. Union doesn't have any star power
Time to turn the machine off, Union is dead
No one that really transcends the sport, no. At least in Australia. In New Zealand probably, in South Africa maybe. Everywhere else it is pretty niche and there are certainly no global superstars from Union.So there isn’t one person playing rugby union who is a star?
@Vlad59 does !.
That dope doesn't realise the most important point. League took all the crap from the union game out of it's game so it became a sport worth watching.
Non stop kicking, line outs, 5 minute scrums and worst of all, the never ending rucking. Who enjoys watching those things?
.
It was an all New Zealand grandfinal that was always going to sellout.The NZ Rugby empire struck back yesterday. While the Warriors were being crushed by the un fancied Titans, the Auckland Blues won the Super Rugby title in front of a sold out Eden Park. With Souths tragic Caleb Clark featuring strongly. Hopefully he’s not immune to Wayne’s persuasiveness.
First statement is 100% correct. I’m not sure I could name a single rugby player these days. But there must be a star out there somewhere lolNo one that really transcends the sport, no. Caleb Clarke has spoken about playing in the NRL, he'd be an absolute weapon.The NZ Rugby empire struck back yesterday. Problem is league Wingers get paid about 600k, in Union he could get 1m +
Shame the clubs ( mosty the bottom placed teams ) voted against cap dispensation for signing Union players.
