I think the Roosters encourage it. I've heard a few of the defectors make comments like... I never want to play against the Roosters. Ok, where's the line between good for the Roosters vs. good for RL. Seems like the Roosters are getting nice and cozy with Union in that Eastern Suburbs bubble and would rather players go to Union than lose them to a rival NRL clubRoosters becoming a feeder club for Union.
If he goes back to union, which he probably will, that’ll be the 5th player in 2 years the roosters have lost to Union ( Jorgenson, Manu, SuaallI, Fitler Jnr ) and they would have lost Angus Crichton too if Rugby Australia hadn’t botched the deal at the last minute.
Why does this only happen to the Roosters ?
