Your underhanded insults never cease to amaze. The reason NSW people are getting defensive is because while you have some valid arguments, you continue to present them in an insulting and condescending manner, as if you either have some sort of vendetta against NSW, or simply because you want to troll.
What about if it ain't broke? This is about as stupid as it gets, even for you.
So if your car f**ks up, you can't state the obvious which is 'gee my car is f**ked up' unless you know how to fix it?. Now you and ziggy might sit around and pretend it isn't, make a series of vroom vroom noises, maybe even cut the bottom out and try and move it flinstone style. Me, I take it to the mechanic and say 'clearly something is wrong, it isn't working please fix it'.
So lockyrulz, you're happy to state a problem but not offer a solution? You should work for the Tele or 2GB, they're specialists at that.
For a start, not subscribe to the Courier-Mail "NSW is dead-and-buried" idea that's been drilled into your pro-QLD head over the last few years?Doesn't alter the fact that sydney clubs are struggling, yet you are all determined to tell us how much better Sdyney is doign than QLD.
So you and ziggy can't handle any more Sydney teams playing in a NSWRL comp as they did for over a hundred years, so what is your alternative solution to save the clubs?
I sure am. I note your only alternative is 'wait till they die then reactivley deal with the mess'
You should work for the CIA.
What about if it ain't broke?
Fix it anyway?
There's only really one Sydney team doing it tough and that's Cronulla. The writing's on the wall there and there's also still hope for them, given they are asset-rich.
But yeah, it's all gloom and doom. What sort of pleasure do you get from death-riding something that is by no means dead yet?
Not even living down this way, I can't believe you feel as qualified as you do to pass such rash judgements.

F**k me, you get unbanned and the first thing you do is dig up an old thread?
F**k off dude, seriously.

Really? Really? Anyone can see my remarks about Queensland crowds are direct tongue-in-cheek statements against geese like yourself. Most crowds for games at Suncorp Stadium are fantastic, few sane people could deny that.Strangely enough, you consider yourself qualified enough to pass judgment on Queensland crowds.
In any case, crowd figures of 7000 speak volumes.
You offered no such thing. Both yourself and lockyrulz have refused point blank to answer WHICH teams should go and WHY. Surely a strong enough opinion on Sydney clubs needing to merge, die or relocate warrants an opinion on whom they should be? "The NRL has that decision" isn't good enough if people like you wish to force the point.I can see why he wouldn't bother. I offered a solution, and you refused to respond.
Everyone insults people, you'd get much further if you didn't. You'll notice I've never denied I insult anyone. You seem to turn on the defensive every time your doing it is highlighted. You seem to think belittling the intelligence of others assists in getting your point across. Instead it only gets peoples backs up and they thereby ignore your arguments and it becomes a trade of insults.Good thing you don't insult people, isn't it?
They'll no doubt counter we shouldn't focus on expanding QLD until NSW clubs fold.Locky and Sam
How would you feel about 4 Sydney teams relocating to Central Qld, Sunshine Coast, Nth Brisbane and West Brisbane? This would effectivly reduce the corporate and fan support of the Broncos but if its for the good of the game then it is a reasonable sacrifice.

Your argument reeks of a herald back to Super-League days where the intent is a small amount of clubs if only ONE in each city. That won't draw the fans, sorry. SL was proof positive of that.

It was proven in 1995/6/7 that Brisbane don't take kindly to anyone eating into their market (in much the same way some Novocastrians oppose a CC
team) and the Titans worrying crowds this year tell the same story. Personally I think the Titans could fix their problems by not charging an arm-and-a-leg for tickets but that's their business.
Overall I think there are many things that can be done before we need to take scissors to Sydney clubs, so to speak. Marketing, ticket offers, member incentives etc all can be looked at.

TBF Brisbanes finances aren't that great when you compare them to the Eagles (bboth No1 teams in a similiar sized city). Eagles have a $60million income and a $5mill profit. Brisbane should be doing better really imo.
