I've always thought a cool idea would be to have an unlockable "dream team" from each club when you win the comp with their respective team. You can view a bunch of them through wiki.

I think it's all additional work that tight budgets don't allow.

It's the sort of thing we may see in the future once the shell of the game is sorted out.

Glad to see in RL3 that they brought in the custom rules of tackle #'s etc (though didn't balance it with custom defence metres from the play-the-ball).

Hope they can allow us to mess with them at some point, it greatly prolongs the value of the game.

Both teams look to be wearing their 89' kit (except for the white numbers on the Tigers).

That's pretty funny. The competition was designed so that every one will jump at it and be like 'I love rugby leave blah blah blah'. Instead tru blue are being heckled as the game sounds as though it's finished, yet a release date has not been provided.

IGN AU: There?s talk amongst fans that they want the forwards to have more impact on the game, so players can?t win by simply stacking their teams with wingers and fullbacks. Has this been improved?

RS: Stamina, tackle impacts and momentum in tackles will have a big part to play. Using forwards to take ground from the defence and sap energy is important, then using burst players to get the line breaks.

With it going through the approval process a date just can't be confirmed right now cos it could be days or weeks till its 'done'.
