lol, played a classic tonight, we went tit for tat kinda and it was 18-16 his/er way with 15 to go, he decides to kick a fg. 19-16 and im trying and trying to break him but no. Finally in 79th minute i break him and draw the fullback, burty scores in corner. 20-19.

didnt get to my kick cause he concede but it was ft anyway.

Won the comp with the sharks beating the panthers in the gf(highlight was graham taking a 95m intercept).

Then went into the "off season" Mark Taufua and Jeremy Smith retired, let go a bunch of depth players along with John Williams and Issac De Gois. Re-signed Townsend, Carney and Ross.

Then bought Jorge Taufua, Billy Slater, Anthony Watmough and Luke Lewis :shock:. All with 800k or so of cap room! Can't see myself doing another season of it though.

Played a 40 minute game on amateur, gave up at 30 mins when I was up 180 - 8. Played a 40 minute game on rookie, lost 80 - 4.

From reading the other comments here I think that this game is all about playing against a human opponent.

I'm getting pretty frustrated already with the amount of intercepts that occur, and I still don't quite get what I am doing wrong from dummy half to then have everyone end up forward of the first receiver.

Also, crap like having a player pick up the ball right on the touch line and then the opposition gets the feed doesn't help.

Iv played about 5 matches all on rookie. It is very difficult to get used to.

I find the default control set up very uncomfortable too. Especially in attack.

Yeah I am finding the controls really unforgiving, especially during turnovers. I'm trying to tackle some clown and next minute one of my guys has the ball and straight away he kicks it.

Agreed with the comments above. Just can't get into the game and it just doesn't flow properly. Maybe I was expecting too much from it but to be honest I think the the game is shit. Not setup for online play either so that's no doubt another reason why I find it incredibly underwhelming, like every other Rugby League game that's come out after ARL 96. Back to Madden and FIFA 13 til assassins creed 3 gets delivered me thinks.

The amount of times I've done this is ridiculous. Kicked out on the full 5 times before I even managed one play the ball.

It's called running a f**king line ffs. Funnily enough, just like IRL, if a dummy-half dicks around while his runners are moving forward, and he makes the pass late, the pass goes forward/to ground.

Utey - I was the same for a while online... I was like 15 - 2 at one stage.... but I've run into some absolute bullshit merkins since then. I've only played against 1 guy who I felt was exploiting the absolute shit out of the game (and he pumped me something like 46-18)... he was just able to chip and regather at will, I couldn't find a defence against it. Frustrated the shit out of me.
