What was updated in the recent update? Could you always edit refs/competitions before?
No release date
No trailer
No game play footage
Latest update today was a sudden death addition to the goal kicking drill and you get to create a ref (why bother?) and create a league.
Still can't use the running or tackling drills
So much for the expected release date for end of this month.
Nothing over there that I posted was even intended as bait, it was me simply stating my honest opinion that the RLL games have a long way to go to even be compared to what 2K and EA produce. That somehow managed to hook the head of the bloody studio.
Haha.
I reckon.
Thanking a company for developing a game that was going to be released regardless on the developer. Trublu funded the project and they must have made some money from the previous games to warrant this release.
Hopefully it won't be another stinker..
I'll thank you guys by not returning this one..
Well to be fair that's not strictly speaking true...
EA Rugby 2004 was the worst sports game in history - even worse than Rugby 15, where as Sidhe's simply titled "Rugby League" was half decent.
Comparisons with EA FIFA or Madden aren't really reasonable; you have economies of scale at play that just mean it's no contest as soccer and NFL titles generate literally hundreds of times the revenue that a League game can, and so the investment in them is vastly larger.
Madden and FIFA are both available in a few weeks.
