I played a game or two last night, Able to run down some of the slower players.

Dugan is dogshit at FB. Marshall is one of the best in the Dragons side.

Having said that, I play on one of the easier modes.

If it's the first patch you console peasants have received, then you should definitely get it. We got some pretty substantial gameplay patches pretty early on in the piece on PC.

Finally picked it up for $20 second hand. I'm an offline gamer with no access to decent Internet and it's pretty annoying that my favourite part of the earlier games, making and teams/squads, is no longer available to me.

You can thank Big Ant being lazy and shrugging off the work of actually maintaining the roster, and in a hell of a lot of cases actually making the players look like they are meant to, onto us the players. Isn't the revolutionary Fan Hub just wonderful!

I've been playing a new career and while it's fun, the problems with it are over the top.

I enjoy it for what it is, but DBC shit all over it from a great height.

It's worth getting if you can get it at the right price. It's still an enjoyable experience as long as you can live with a few little flaws.

I got it for about 65 off eBay and I'm happy enough with my decision.

I've played a game twice in the last week and both times I was prompted to download a roster update (which I did), but I haven't checked it as I'm in a career and it won't affect the players in that (I assume).

I had a crack at the game again the other day - hadn't played it for a little while because I completed a season with the Roosters and took a break.

I downloaded the patch and played a Kangaroos v England game. Only early days, but none of the glitches that were cropping up before happened, the Kangaroos jersey was fixed (it was way too pale before) and the passing seems to be clearer with cut outs etc.

Yeah passing was the big thing that I noticed. I think the patch does make a difference.

Online is still rife with bugs after the patch.

Infact, the patch has actually created a few more.

I have no interest in online gaming, so that isn't an issue for me personally, but I can see why that would annoy others.

I find this game so hard still, my forwards are almost always stuck with that down, red arrow in form thing, which means they miss more and more tackles and it's harder for them to get back into form because every missed tackle pushes that form arrow further down. I still enjoy it a lot, and very glad I got it, but it's hard work!

What level do you play on? I don't play on the hardest, but I've found the longer games - 20 mins+ tend to make the fatigue factor more of an issue and so your forwards start having more impact.

Won the Super League title in my second season with Catalans, being down 18-4 at half time came back to win 22-18 in golden point. Was an epic match.

The patch has had me clock in some hours this past week. Still has some issues but now a more enjoyable game.

I find playing against other people generally gives an overall better challenge than playing even on Legend difficulty against the AI.
