I just hope for better gameplay. When you knock on call it a knock on rather than just continuing.

Let players move properly and not run in the damn opposite direction etc..........

Hopefully the Be a Pro isn't completely broken and not ass in this game.

Also hopefully the rest of the game isn't shit.

Seriously. Why even bother putting it in there when it is so clearly broken beyond even functioning properly? I've got red downward arrows burnt into my retinas.

I played a lot of RLL3, I actually quite liked it, but I didn't have a desire at any point to even try Be A Pro. I don't get why that became a fad in sports games. Then again, it makes more sense than this Ultimate Team crap that has apparently taken over the sports gaming World.

My Career mode in the NBA 2K games is great, and it works well because the AI is competently programmed and they actually try to help you win games. The AI in RLL3 was brain dead and did all they could to not help you do anything. Coaching AI wasn't any better, would get subbed on and off three or four times a game as a bloody fullback.

I can understand how that format would work in basketball, there are only 5 players on the team and it stands to reason that an individual would stand out a lot more than in teams with 13 players. Other than being dummy half though, I can't imagine it'd be much fun spending the majority of the game waiting for the ball to come to you.

You can call for the ball at any time and they will pass it to you. Can be very dangerous if you're in a dumb position, but you can get your hands on the ball whenever you like.

Yeah I guessed something like that existed, but that's not rugby league so wouldn't really interest me.
Depends what position you're playing. It flows pretty well if you're playing halfback or 5/8. Pretty ordinary if you're on the wing, though. I've had quite a bit of fun with it.

Big ask! I'm at least hoping for some comedically crappy Vossy lines. "Big game today...even my cabby's talking about it! The...Brisbane Broncos against the...Wests Tigers, at the...Suncorp Stadium!"

Speaking of shitty commentary, instead of just saying "French" as a name for a player they just copy and pasted the "The French" sound bite from the French national team. Lazy shit like this shouldn't be acceptable.

Haha noticed that how lazy

I'm keen to see the new faces in it. I hated he player models in RLL3. They looked so cartoonish.

They badly need a change from Vossy, hes been doing it since those dodgy SIDHE games. I guess hes the only one they can find that will sit in the studio and record for days.

I think Vossy is great for it, but they do need to re-record a lot of names.

There are some that are just baffling, I can't for the life of me think of examples, but there are several players who were established first-graders at release and their names are pronounced as they're spelt, rather than as they should be. The only example I can think of is Tapine is "ta-pine" (instead of "tar-pin-ay"), but there are several much higher profile examples.

The thing about the cost argument, isn't so much that it's still retails at over $100 on release at EB Games, but that it stays at the inflated price for the lifespan of the game.

You can go in to EB today and pick up RLL3 for like 89 bucks...

Plus, Ross is a merkin.

That's something I just can't get my head around either. Surely EB (or whoever you go to) set the price of games rather than the distributor though?

I can't imagine a single person would have paid full price for the game in the last 12 months or so.
