I'm starting to get better with kicking and using the forwards up the middle. Set plays are hit and miss and the timing of passes from dummy half are the same.

You have to double tap pass buttons to get players running on to the ball, and I'm pretty sure that is something that they've had in since RLL2 at least, was definitely in the last one though seemingly a lot of people had never realised it.

This small thing f**king changes the game. Like by an insane amount. My forwards are suddenly monsters now that they are actually hitting it up properly.

If you want to not get dominated in tackles also, you need to step early then push up on the R stick to drive. Gets a much quicker play the ball.

As with all these games though, the most frustrating part to me is the clumsy way the game handles increasing difficulty. I go from winning 50+ to unable to score a point by going up 1 level since suddenly everyone on the opposition becomes Usain Bolt when you break the line. Meanwhile defence doesn't seem to change it all, so all my games are 6-4, 6-0, 10-6 etc

Hey Big Ant, your random junior generator created a white and bald Sam Thaiday in my career mode

Rumours are surfacing of a cheat code where you can tap out "PARRA" in morse code sequence to avoid the salary cap entirely. Downside is, you get the spoon anyway.

I watched the tutorials for a laugh yesterday and worked on the double tap feature last night for passing, and got a bit of kicking practice in as well at times.

Went for a field goal at one stage and got tackled from behind, but the clipping of the players and the timing of the kick made it look like it came flying off the tackling players hands (he got me from behind).

U20's seasons are only 21 rounds long apparently.

Ah sports games physics. Reminds me of Cricket 96, where very occasionally an outfielder would dive 50 metres :D

Finally played it, and, well, there's not much to write home about. Annoys me that they have replaced Gould, but still used the exact same script he used.
