It was a disgraceful review, that guy has NO idea what hes talking about, must have been written by one of the guys posting here

I'll take the review done on a professional gamng website, over the reviews of guys on an internet forum desperately trying to justify forking out 100 bucks for a dud game.

Why can't you edit/update team rosters?

Will their be a patch to fix this?
Still waiting for an answer from RossSymons/BigAnt on this?

Those of you complaining there's no Franchise mode. How many of you actually played more than 1 season??? I didn't as you couldn't change the difficulty I was belting teams by the end of the 1st season and restarted.

While I agree it should be in there. I love the Madden Francise mode. The fact is RL2's wasn't much better.

IF EA is going to make a RL version it will need demand so If you don't buy it. It won't improve

So anyone played more than 1 Franchise season???????????????

Yeah the hub is really basic. I haven't had to I am on Meduim and it's 1000 times harder then easy. Autosave is good it's changes starting 17 if you play a quick game after editing the team it saves permanantly

Bought it last night, returned this morning.

Would probably purchase for $30 to play occassionally but that's all-

Im going to let them keep my money, even though im disappointed in the game overall.

I do not see the point in hamstringing the only game the code has for these platforms, but this is the last time i will donate if changes are not listened too.

The problem of most negative reviews... it seems like only the people that stick in there realise how to start having fun with it and realise that you can't play the same way as you would in past games. It's a much more rewarding game despite it's flaws.

Currently enjoying learning how to hit it up through the forwards and offloading for speed men to try and create some 2nd phased play. (you can offload in most, if not every tackle, as in real life usually but if the offload is not on then you'll get punished)

I'm still learning how to play after 5 days with the game.. getting thumped online lol

I got the game yesterday, only played a couple of games so far.

This is where i think the developers made a massive mistake.
I will allow others to pick on gameplay and bugs etc, personally its not as bad as some make out, where i think you should have spent some serious time, and it looks to me you have spent none, was the crowd.

Each team has select bunch of supporters that should have been included, it is these little things that change a game from decent to fantastic and make the game personal to the people that are buying them.

Eg:
For Stg games "The GST Banner" and Stg Flags
The Sharks crowds one arm salute while goal kicking
The Titans Drums under the northern goal posts.
The Bell at the Storm games
The Burrow
The Kennel

The one thing i want to feel is atmosphere, we all go to these stadiums, we are part of this game, are you selling this to us or to Scott Prince?

There is no crowds on the hills. Win stadium hill looks like a cliff. The crowds in general look awful. You can't move your player when the opposition kick for touch. i.e they can boot it down field and it will bounce infield and you can't do anything about it. No ref? the players look terrible. Play Fifa 2010 and look at the players compared to this game. Huge difference. the play the balls sh*t me to tears. The tackles are all wrestling suplex's. It would be good if you could dive to score or dive to make legs tackles.

Definitely not worth $100.

I realised straight away the game was pure rubbish and had a small window in which I can recoup the full purchase price. Don't be blinded by your support of the code in general and judge rugby league live in terms of its gameplay, visual, sound etc which in my opinion was quite poor.

True it is poor compared to the quality of Fifa, Madden etc and there is huge room for improvement but in my opinion despite it's many flaws it is the closest to what league should be in a game compared to past games, which is why I'm enjoying it and needs to be supported. It isn't as rubbish as people think after you play for a while to be able to get used to it. Many people I've read have thought it was shocking at first but began to warm to it and enjoying it. Once you realise that the game isn't a walk in the park, just like the game in real life, and that you can't play the same way you did in past league games, you start building towards wins and enjoy achieving a try or making a good play. I enjoy losing too because I know I'd have to play better the next game. Just like real league.

I reckon the next few years should see improvements as this company has the game for 5 installments and basically said that tackling/big hits was their main focus and that each year they're aiming to build upon perfecting different areas of gameplay. Sounds like theres more in store and I'll continue to support any league gaming franchise.
