From @readingtheplay on twitter, anyone know anything else?

Plenty of mail to suggest major blow up between Foran, Johnson and Coach, both players since excluded today.. Wonder impact on team.. #NRL
I hope both Johnson and Foran go to the Bulldogs. They deserve better than Kearney.

Idont see why we dont make an offer to Josh starling and dave tyrell. Both off contract and are solid journeymen. 2 Guys like that would be the price of blair.

Dave Tyrell runs at 1/8th Gubb pace these days. You're better off asking me to strap on the breast and shoulder pads.

Epic plodder. Burgii Jrs are ahead of him and they can't catch.

I've been banging on about fixing our forward pack for a few seasons now.

At this point I would settle for a couple of outside backs so Kata can f**k off and Maumalo can either transition to the forwards or f**k off with him.

Because they're not solid, they're rubbish.

Starling has made the Knights worse, and Tyrrell has been struggling at ISP level.

TBH I'd take Blair and Beale over Lillyman and Kata.

Also hope the JTS rumour comes true. The more competition we have for the wing spot the less reason there is to keep Maumalo there.

There's also Nanai to consider. Kearney was keen to throw him into the 9's this year as a 17 year old. I imagine he'll be fast tracked to ISP and from there who knows.

JTS has an offer in front of him currently

Latu (staying a Penrith), a bulldog (Greg Eastwood - hopefully not coming), a bronco or two (Adam Blair - 99% coming, Jai Arrow signed with Titans), a non-nrl player (ESL prop - I have no update here) & one other (Gerard Beale - likely coming but I dont believe he's officially signed yet as he's in hot demand from Knights & Souths) in various stages of negotiation.

There may be some caution around one with medical issues (that would effect the length of contract we would be willing to offer) and Kearney's desire to broom out of a few from our current top squad that will require someone else to foot the bill.

Maybe two more ISP signings. One with a similar background to Santo (Aussie ISP player - I have no name), one similar to CNK (JTS - good chance he'll come).

And an Aussie & a kiwi being interviewed for a coaching role.

There's probably a few new names since this was posted (6 weeks ago).

As I said a few weeks back, we'll probably get 2-3 of these guys.

Cracker of a story I read this morning, if Davys bid for the Warriors was successful, he had Jamie Soward lined up for a 2 year deal to replace Foran

Kiwi to fill a gap in a debatable position - My guess, Gerard Beale. SK has always played him in the Kiwis despite never really shining at NRL level. SK loves his pets.

If we do get him, better be on fringe NRL cash.. I'm guess he could be a cheap Vatuvei replacement.

Picked that a while ago, not sure where he'd play. Wing with ken moving into the pack? Can't see SK dropping Kata, him and Aysh are similar levels imo.

beale straight swap for allwood

There's no reason to buy him unless it's to strengthen our left edge. Beale is no superstar, but he is better than Kata in almost every facet of the game. Beale at centre with Maumalo outside him and Harris defending on the same side is a winner for us considering what we've been working with.
