is green really that rated or is he another jeff plodson

He is a good solid foil, that would probably complement Johnson very well and take some pressure off him

Good kicking game and good organiser, defence can be a bit suspect at times, and also seems like an extremely good club man

Gut feel is he would probably fit better with shaun than Hingano would, but it's a real shame for Hingano if it does happen

Of course, we all know these names don't mean jack shit unless we can land a prop who can run for 100+ metres a game, right?

At the moment, we have Blair/Lisone/Vete/Pulu. That's 86.4/81.7/76.8/86.9m per game.

If Manly's plan is Moylan I reckon Green is a much better fit with DCE than Moylan would be

But yeah, sorry if we can't turn Hingano into a first grader then shut the shithole down - the talent development is appalling

Yep - and again Vete has some of the raw materials, as have others - it's embarrassing that we can't turn them into first graders - and I am so over Blair

Vete looked very promising in 2015/16, seems to have just stopped developing. Hopefully kicks on at some point

Shit, I sort of don't want Green. Hope we back our talent, and invest in our pack..

Sounds like Moylan is Manly bound.

Yep. He's had no strong influences on him. Matulino/Packer came through under Wiki and Price. I actually think Gavet can develop into being a really strong leader in that regard but it's too early. There's nothing on our coaching staff either.

Well Wiki seems to hang around the joint, and Morgan was a prop - Lillyman is a quiet sort, but surley Vete has people?

The coaching staff since Clearly have unequivocally failed to develop any of the promising you talent - and yes while Taylor's mouthing off has some truth, at the end of the day they can be taught - Kearney keeps mumbling about it but successive coaches have been so inconsistent with the younger players (Kata aside) that it's no surprise they haven't developed

Given how shit the team is, you might as well be shit with younger talent that could develop - this "you'll crush them" bullshit is that - if they are not mentally strong enough to deal with not winning (which is the expectation of the Warriors first grade team anyway) they'll never be decent NRL players

Pretty sure he's only extended for 2018. So looks like it's make or break time. Possibly lots of outside distraction. (Quite a good scholar apparently? Takes it seriously)

With a new Forward leadership group of Blair, Harris, and to a lesser extent, Gavet, joining Mannering, I hope to see some improvement next year. He's a solid unit, needs to stop turning his shoulder into the line though, and try to bust tackles and get quicker play the balls.

Green likes to kick from what I have seen. Even though SJ's kicking has got better and better, I reckon a good kicking half partner who takes 75% of the kicks would be great, need SJ to focus on running and setting up stuff.

Yup, and getting rid of Thompson is also a masterstroke, so SJ can stop throwing that no look short ball to Brodene every 2nd time he gets the ball..

This
I think (not 100%) the club gave him some time off as he got his degree cos he was studing full time as well. Plus being a new dad and his partner graduated as well
