I have it in good authority that Pritchard who has lived and played his junior and school footy near eagle-vale will be with us for 3 years-great young mobile backrower- but dont we need a half, hooker and decent centre-we have enough forwards- Smithy is not logical and weird.
I know Frank through my friends family and is one heck of an athlete and fast but our money should be spent to improve our deficiencies!!

Anyway Morrison also may still choose us but Kite and Riddell are using us as a bargaining tool as well as Orford so count these out.

M. Head will stay or go to Canberra

J MONAGHAN to Manly likely.

Tahu to Manly

Kennedy may now stay at KNIGHTS.

WE ARE LEFT WITH THE LEFT OVERS.

I'd be delighted if this was true...

Frank is a tremendous athlete and seems to have a stack of potential.

He would definintely add some thrust to our at times 'sluggish' forward pack.

On one hand your saying we have enough forwards while on the other your saying Morrison may still choose us?

If we can attract some good young talent it may help us attract the centre and hooker we need. ;-)

If your information is correct?

that would be an amazing signing and despite the injury Glen Morrison will also be handy.

However we do need some backs and there are a couple of halfbacks left in the market namely Brett Oliver and Nathen Fien.

Pritchard also wouldnt be costing us an arm and a leg. That would be a great signing if its true!

Morrison may be comingbut i again ask why sign backrowers and forwards in general when our weakness for the last 10-15 years has been no class, organising, established half and hooker controllong our attack????
Do you see my point Colonel Eel?

I do see the point but aside from Hindmarsh, Cannings and Cayless our forwards at times have lacked impact hence the possible signing off Pritchard. I've watched him for a long time and as opposed to bargain players like Moi Moi there is a big upside in age and impetus in attack and defence.

I can only assume that the club is using the signing of young up and comers as an enticement for the bigger name players to have running off them? ;-)

Stuff Orford I say - we got Dykes, Witt, Smith and even Thorman. Just with Dykes, Witt and Smith we have enough to do well.

As for Riddell - I think he truly was impressed by Parra. If we really want him, he may just edn up here. He'd be a great influence on anf off the field. A great bloke, too.

As for Pritchard and Morrison - IF they do come to Parra, then great news.

In order for your halves and hooker to work well, your forwards need to fire offensively. And both these blokes will also bolster our defence.

I hope we go after Tahu - he'd be a class act in Parra colours. Plus he'd be a great centre.

GAME FIRST we can only go after what's on the market and what's available. The only truely PROVEN classy organising halves available are ORFORD & JOHNS. We're going after ORFORD but if he chooses to go elsewhere and/or is asking for a ridiculous amount of money for 1 year then what else can we do? We've made a serious offer for Riddell also but if he chooses to go elsewhere, again we can't control that. We can't just sit around waiting for next year, we have to sign up ANY talent when it comes available. If we have signed Pritchard I say well done Smith, well done Fitzy  He's arguably a better prospect than Kite and at half the price

Pritchard is a class act! Looks like Cayless is going back to the front row and the club will be letting go of Widders, Muspratt and Hopkins?

Backrowers are looking good with Hindmarsh, Wagon, Afasamaga, Mateo and Pritchard

this is a great signing assuming we also rid ourselves of some of the dead wood in our forward pack like widders and hopkins

I love it!

My only change would be Morris starting and Riddell off the bench. But either way it would work beautifully.

And, like you said, you've even forgotten lads like Armit, Cayless and Afamasaga.

looks like this is a very popular thread GAMEFIRST, you gonna want to hope thats true! son! ;-) ;-)

I have heard around the traps, in fact from a mate of a first grade player that we are negotiating with Head! so we'll have to see what happens.

Tahu to Manly

Kennedy may now stay at KNIGHTS.

I think we do need a couple more prop forwards, Pritchard's not a bad signing (if it's true), he has been going well for Penrith. He's not a has been. In fact a future players. Thats what Parramatta needs to sign. Maybe develop some forwards running around in PL and JF.

We need:

Props, Centres, Hookers

We really do need another class outside back if Lyon doesn't return though. We're really struggling in that department this year but there ain't alot of them on the market. I think we'll be going very hard for Tahu.

Parramatta doesnt need props, Cayless, Cannings, Vella and Tsoulos would make an excelent rotation next season. Hookers i do agree with, Riddell and Sullivan rotating would be crazy.
