RUMOUR:parra have signed Frank Pritchard for 3 yrs-but why?

Pritchard will be a very good signing and I'll be happy if it proves true but Parra do need a class centre.

With Morris hooker is ok. but a centre is needed Graham/Vaealiki when both fully fit & in form will be good but after that it is stop gap measures (eg Burt, Langi, Petersen, Wagon) and untested rookies (eg B.Smith).

I thought Penrith would of had him as one of their top priority re signings due to the fact he is one of John Langs favourites and probably most highly favoured of the Penrith young guns. Not saying your sources are wrog or anything but I wouldnt think Penrith would let him go too easily

I'm hoping Parra do get Pritchard but I'm expecting the Panthers to sign him up quickly they have already sign Clinton and a few others who are coming off contract so I'm expecting their next target ot be Pritchard.

Brandy mentioned last week on radio that the Panthers wont be able to keep all their good juniors for next year. Next year they will have:

-Qld fullback
-Country winger
-NSW winger
-NSW centre
-NSW Halfback
-Australian front rower
-Qld front rower
-City/Country hooker
-2 NZ second rowers
-Aus/NSW lock

As well as this they have plenty of good young guys worth a fair bit of money and have preston Cambell.

Fair enough Girds and Lang are retiring but they wont be able to keep em all.
