Ok I'll admit the correction. But he did play first grade for the Roosters prior to joining the Eels where he only played reserve grade.

Possible that Smith wants out to play with SK.

Also very possible that they'll use Gallen in the backrow like they always do.

Poore is a better player than either of Ross or Gibbs - so if the Sharks can get themselves a better prop than they have.
Maybe they also want to start Tagataese as a backrower next year? So Gallen, Tupou and Tagataese - and feel they'd be better off with a prop rather than another backrower (Smith).

It would be a great deal for us seeing Poore has arthritis issues and i think must be an injury risk week in and out, and even more seeing Smith is exactly the type of player we need in our pack (apart from a top class hooker).
