Yep, Capewell did well in centres for QLD, but the QLD Jersey makes Gagai look good too. Aiming for him as a starting centre is a bad idea.

It's more the battle up the middle than anything. When NSW won the battle up the middle and got good ball Capewell looked like the worst defender in the series. Look at that try Walker scored. That was awful defence and there were a other examples when he was at centre. On the front foot that doesn't get exposed nearly as much. Similarly Tyrone May is adequate on the front foot at centre but when we lose the battle up the middle his weakness such as running softly and killing momentum or being slow go from not mattering much across an 80 minute game to a hindrance.

I reckon Too has more impact on a game of footy and would cost far less. That guy is a little machine.
Crichton is great once space is made. But he doesn't do the hard work Too does.

Hes not even worth $550k yet. $500k is still paying for his potential.

If he isn't going to be happy with half a million bucks at 19 and the opportunity to play at a team on the rise with his mates. He's not even worth the $500k IMO.

He's a centre with one season under his belt ffs. We would be so much better off without him if he doesnt give a f**k about keeping this roster together and helping us build success. He supposedly loved this club a few months back. Now he's all about that retirement money.

Honestly the longer this drags on the less i care about keeping him. Roosters did just fine letting Mitchell walk. Storm did just fine letting Inglis walk. We need good centres on centre money. Not a good centre on fullback money with plans to move him to fullback and destroy our centres again.

I feel guys on here are more real.So I come here to feel grounded.See I am a Penrith boy born and bred.
I mentioned Dylan Browns not worth 650k and currently all hype and potential and my posts got thrown out and rubbished. I felt it was justified.
I also suggested Bryce be a good signing in cheap 6mths ago and was bagged. Now everyone is saying what a great signing.
