Whare would be one player that wouldn't sulk in NSW Cup so for that reason he should stay. Just not in the top 17.

We all know Blake's potential but what if he nevers gets to it? Also from all reports he is the one that wants out not the club. Is it worth keeping someone in that case?

Question is, why does he want out?

If he is lazy, wouldn’t he like Cleary’s training ways? He didn’t want out under Hook and Hook was a task master.

I thought that.
I just wondered if Parra planted the seed with us looking to free up spots and cash.
Or him missing training earlier in the year has fallen foul of 'Ivan's good attitude' manta.

Either way its sadly familiar ground for us. Re-sign a player long term and release him to another club 12-18 months later.

Wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a lot of disinformation with these types of things. The club has to know the fans wouldn’t be happy seeing yet another recent re-signing leave, so they put out some disinformation to keep the fans happy.

I would rather the real reason he is probably leaving and why DWZ left.

I know why no-one will talk. Its bad for the player to sling mud that could deem them difficult and any club will want gloss over any issues for future player recruitment and retention.

The Eels alleged interest in Waqa Blake is interesting given they have a lot of players off contract, more than most, and have only recently resigned and upgraded Gutherson & Moses. Michael Jennings is close to signing a 1 year extension. I’m not quite sure where they will get the cash from and like us there are areas in there roster which are probably higher priority than centre. I guess if there is truth to this rumour and Blake wants to leave so be it. He’s had a season to forget, he turns 25 at end of season so no youngster any more and it seems he suffers a serious injury each season. Just maybe like RCG he reached his ceiling and perhaps not as big a loss as at first glance.

They sound like the backline we've been needing for a while.

Swapping Blake for Peachey makes our backline shorter yet again. Without Naden in the team there’s no one to kick to. They’re all short fellas.

Yes they all have pace id say johns would probably be the slowest of the 4 but he is very strong and stocky thats why he sometimes fills in at backrow.Naden mcgrady and chrichton are pretty quick mcgrady is a goalkicker as well.We need to shed some guys like blake whare and mansour to give these guys an opportunity to play 1st grade all 3 of those 1st graders are struggling this yr for form and tries.
