However, you clearly did. Lol.
No, that’s your paranoia playing up again.

Yeah fair point, you might not actually come out and say it’s the reason. Depends on the industry I suspect. For instance if you were working with children, you’d probably be told if a past conviction was the problem.
How predictable that you will respond? So me your medical degree considering that you have made another assumption? Lol.
exactly. That’s why I think it’s a bit much to say that you can’t play in the NRL if you’ve been found guilty of any offence.
You respond to every post I make, even the ones that aren’t aimed at you.
Why do I need a medical degree?
OMFG, Luke, use your brain. Actually, wrong, it is you, in fact, who usually responds to my posts, which is not aimed at you. Nice try though.
You have just made the assumption that I am paranoid, with a diagnosis like that, only a psychiatrist, can make that.
Any offence is way too broad. But the NRL players are contractors, so stipulating certain offences probably wouldn’t be a problem.
And you guys wondered why I ignore certain posters... This is just really f**king stupid and drastically bringing down the level of conversation that normally occurs here.
The absolute carry on from this Jane dickhead is pathetic and just screams attention seeking.
Really, your excluding people from jobs because of their criminal history..... you may not want to advertise that.
Every government job I've ever applied for I've needed to provide a criminal history check. Maybe Franklin is a public servant?

Exactly, franklin, nursing, for example, you need to undergo a criminal, and working with children, check. If the applicant is on the register, it is illegal for them not to reveal that.It is not illegal to need a clean criminal history depending on the type of work you do
I am willing to, if you are willing to meet me half way? As for ACTPanther, that is a different kettle of fish all together. No, that’s my “Opinion” which on here, according to you, I’m entitled to post.
That’s according to you.
enough now, let’s leave it at that (I know you won’t be able too) and talk about footy.

For jobs that require a security clearance, or WWVP, I can't see a problem with requiring a clean record.
As Luke states though, not the same for footy players.
I think serious crimes should carry a ban from footy, life for some instances, but misdemeanours that end up on your permanent record shouldn't be that much of a problem.
Like playing rugby league?
