Damn, was hoping he would come back to us. Good luck to the Dragons. We got one of theirs so can't complain. Wish him well except against the Pennies. Really enjoyed watching him play for us.

my thoughts, for what little they are worth:

Fullback - Centre, obviously can play wing as well.. Has spent some time in the halves, so he can play make a bit. IMO Centre his his best position. Not sure where he'd play for Penrith, they have so many young backs so i think its a strange career move for him

Extremely good footwork, beats the first tackler one on one almost every time, got a really nice quick step and explosive acceleration. Has the speed to race away from defenders after a break, is a finesse player, not going to run over the top of anyone, although he's got pretty long arms so his fend is effective.
Defensively is OK, reads the play well but sometimes lacks strength to finish tackles.

You've got a good young player here, im really disappointed to lose him

Unless half was his preferred position or his best position it's a strange signing for the club. He sounds a bit like Will Smith and is in a position where NRL would be a long shot in the backline considering who we have ahead of him.

Damn. Even though having such a quality back up in Api never made much sense he's a great player and its been good to have him this year. Hopefully Seg has a healthy season. I imagine ZDC or Katoa would back him up next year.

So we've lost Brown and Korisau. Will lose Manu and Docker... and the only first grade player we have signed is Trent Merrin.

Our roster for 2016 is looking a lot weaker then it was this season, and the depth is going to be weaker aswell. Unless we're holding a few signings back, we have gone backwards bigtime. The same injuries in 2016 and we're as good as wooden spoon certainties

edit
Ontop of those, there's Nigel Plum, Brent Kite and David Simmons retiring.

What do our fitness staff and club doctors have to do with us losing a number of established first graders and replacing them with a single established first grader?

David Simmons, Nigel Plum and Brent Kite retiring was always expected.
But if we lose the likes of Lewis Brown, Api Korisau, Sika Manu and Nigel Plum ontop of them, that gives us 7 established first graders having left our roster.

Trent Merrin is a big name signing obviously. But the rest of the players we have signed are all lesser players then the 7 we have let go (at this point anyway). That's a pretty big drop in player quality in our top 25. Our top 17 is also arguably weaker. Unless we have some first graders to be announced.
