Lorraine Bayly has that impact on people...

I was thinking of the episode where Harry's wife drowned. Many a tear was shed in the caravan that my family lived in a the time. I was never the same again. Before that I was the best soccer player in Woolgoolga.....afterwards, an unco hack.

At full strength our 2-5 is looking like this...

2 semi
3 Morgan
4 taka
5 Rets

That's embarrassing

You're right. And we DESPERATELY need a centre (especially if we lose Hoppa). But you'd have to say our 'spine' is looking healthier than it has in a long time. I agree with you, though. I'm not too happy about losing Robinson, either.

Did she really drown? Or was she attacked by an under-sea creature of indescribable dimensions?

Idris form mid last year till the end along with his form this year prior too injury was excellent. ALmost NSW call up form. He had the most brutal defense of any player let alone centre in the NRL. He is slow thou so if want speed not your man. But 5 meters out and one on one? At age 25 he will mature and most people grow up.
If you would prefer Hoppa to Idris your a fool. Same speed but one is a weapon in the defense and unstopabble close to the line. He can also hit it up like a forward.
I do not think Idris has reached his potential - He is a risk but a risk that could get us HUGE rewards. I doubt he would cost an arm and leg either. Would be a lot less then Hoppa. Atleast 200k less.

Too say PASS is a little strange to me. I think at the right price it would be a great pick up.

It really does come down to price. If we could get it so we're paying him $250k, he is well worth the shot. But, of course, it also depends on how he presents himself if negotiations were to start....if he shows no sign of interest, leaves it all to his manager, and continues having a laugh the risk becomes bigger. He's only 25, so he might pull his finger out one day. And, as has been mentioned, he has great cans.

Id go as HIGH as 300K - He is a first grader. If paid him that worse case we are paying maybe 100k overs. If he performs we are saving 250k.

Panthers will regret letting moss go within 2 years he will be the best fullback in the nrl

So the 30 odd fullbacks better than him are going to join the NFL like Hayne did?

That's the only way that happens. Too small to be an elite fullback. But he definitely shits on the options Eels currently have.

ep. Injuries cruelled Moss' chances but Smith covers more positions so is the better squad builder

at least if he wants to be the best he will not have to climb a ladder to do it. No one at parra can climb a ladder

Moss is quality. I hope him well.

Injuries have hampered Moss. If he can remain injury free he is certainly good enough to play NRL.

Idris deserves around 500k providing it's an incentive based contract

I don't think that's likely, as he has an existing contract for 2016. Any incentives would just affect how much his new club pay v. how much Penrith pay.....can't see Penrith agreeing to that.
