All it shows is some people rate him. He wont be the best fullback in the NRL. At under 20's level thou he showed more then Bevan French who some are calling the next superstar. IMO Moss will play first grade prior too Bevan bar injury.
The bar is saggy by the looks.Idris ?
Seriously ?
We need to raise the bar

Agreed. If French was even ready to be an NRL backup we wouldn't have signed Moss.

Agree Poo but we havent had much luck signing back up fullbacks in recent years.
Jake Mullaney
Evander Cummins
Justin Hunt
Adam Quinlan.
The last 2 in particular were never really given a chance. I really hope Moss dosent continue this trend. Our last smallish fullback with any success was Brett Hodgson.
He was quoting posts from the Panthers forum.....
Cummins, what an idiot!! Making it in the NRL can take some luck, he only had to really put in a massive 13/14 off season with some good footy last year, and the footy gods would have given him a huge chance. But nah, to f**ken lazy!!
Some people on here over rate our Juniors.
Albert Kelly - Davis-Tanginoa - Mortimer - Toutai - Loko. All these guys where talked up at some point and have all been busts.
I am not saying French will be but he is as good a chance as the names mentioned above as turning into nothing.....
I wouldn't say Bevan French is even a superstar in the juniors. Not like Evander Cummins was. Of course French was late coming into an NRL club's system.
Milford wasn't smaller than French at all. Shorter maybe, but he has been built like a brick shithouse for years.
It just shows that what's required to stand out in the lower grades (speed and power in attack) is only a small part of what is needed to play first grade.
You see it all the time - fans complaining that the coach won't select this or that big fast youngster who looks dangerous against reserve graders. When you have a look at the guy you see that he is lazy, sluggish or clueless in defence. And defence is what separates first graders from the rest. The state cups are full of good attacking players. Look at Penrith's 'superstar' young backs. All woeful defenders, just like ours.
