There are as many stupid rumours posted here as there are over there. Like any site, a lot of them are trolls and a lot of them are genuine people. If you read what people have to say you begin to weed out who to listen to, i.e. Ricky, Tony Bongo and Phil. It's not like the whole site is bad.

Thanks Boxy but I'm on both sites and I don't buy into the us verses them childlike behaviour that some seem obsessed with.
I actually find the whole credibility issue a bit of a joke anyway TBH. Just because a rumour or news is true it doesn't necessarily mean that it's a positive thing. I'm sure there are people on both sites that would do our club a far greater service by keeping their big mouths shut rather than thinking they are legends because they told the world what they knew.

Or what they made up. I think that's the main reason why a lot of rumours are criticized, and particular the 'other site' is that the rumours are either made up by the individual, or made up by the individual who told them.

You seem to have missed my point. I was referring to those who are entrusted with information and get a kick out of breaching confidentiality to big note themselves.
In any case I find it ridiculous to judge any rumour, especially in accordance to whether it has any substance or not - It is a rumour afte all. I find it just as immature do to judge a whole group by a few individuals.
As the saying goes - "If a rumour has not a leg to stand on it will get around some other way"

On your second point I think the opposite, you should judge any rumour unless it comes from a credible source. Otherwise it's just a something someone could have made up. If you believe rumour you read then it's just being gullible. But it does seem like a lot of the 'rumours' posted in this thread are sourced from the 'other site' hence my comment.

What's relevent is how old he will be when he's at Parramatta, which will be 29+ when he arrives (if he does). Still young enough to have an impact, but more than likely well past his prime.

I judge all rumours in the same way - I don't believe any of them. It's only the evidence or facts I discover after a rumour is posted that I believe but never the initial rumour.
