Maybe.

I think he probably still needs a full season to acclimatise as the union half role while it has some similarities is different too.

But he’s good enough to pick it up quickly.

If he stays on and plays to the end, it will help with his immortal selection. He’s close, but it would put him over the line.

He’s been the best player in the game for 4 years, maybe Yeo had him every now and again a few years ago, but he’s slowing down.
There’s probably a greater likelihood of Nathan transitioning to become a female to join Man City in the women’s EPL than there is him going to Union. Seriously Silverdale this is one of your best

It’s not just me but I can’t rat on some of your colleagues here.

I’m from the catchment, snitches wear stitches, you know how we roll.

I at least wait until mid season before writing a new recruit off. Alamotti perhaps had his best game of the season in the grandfinal.

Was Alamotti a Critta clone.....NO......he was Alamotti.

I think you're falling into the trap of wanting recruits to be clones of players who have just departed.

I'm sure Cameron Cleary and co know what they're doing. There record speaks for itself.

This is not a criticism of any poster either. Just my own thoughts.
I’m not sure you’ve quoted the right person here Alice.

I’ve been saying all along that we need to give the kid a chance, much like we did with PA.

If I remember correctly some were on AP's case this time last year.

Or even Garner.

I believe you need to wait and just see how they come along, especially when they have been with a team at the bottom end of the table.

Sorry if I've put it in the wrong spot. I wasn't highlighting anyone actually.

Well you replied to me, and I was not on any of their cases, we all are sharing opinions, and rate who we rated, I've always rated both alamotti and schnieder, i did have issues with Garner, but purely for the solidified centre spot, not his talent, and of which i guessed was T.Mays spot all along (b4 he imploded) and I'm now very underwhelmed by these two new recruits Papali'i was a favourite of mine while watching the warriors, then when he left for parra went down hill, even further at tigs, hopefully he rises back into form with us, but being at the other end of career scale, not sure that's going to happen, fingers crossed tho, and you all know my views on turnstyle tackling talagi

Talagi is a joke, he’s not smug, not even close.

Your recruitment has been not up to standard, but retentions a lot better.

Ivan’s magic wand better be at max output.

Papali'i going downhill when he went from the Warriors to the Eels is as bad a take as I've seen. Bizarre. Nor is he at the wrong end of his career. He turned 26 a few months ago so is just entering his prime. He had a couple average years at the Tigers, that's it.

I thought I mentioned that I wasn't highlighting you or anyone else (in particular) in my previous comment.

My memory isn't good enough to complete those types of feats these days.

Well he started getting a fair few drop balls in his game in his rise at parra, that's probably what I noticed the most, when he wasn't doing that off the bench at the warriors, and yes, tigers was pretty underwhelming

Anyone going to Vegas here?

Lindsay Smith should play Origin this year. So we going to need good enough back ups. What's happening in the search for that mid range prop?

With Laurie Daley as coach I wouldn't be so sure. He is just as likely to drop Bizza, Yeo and Martin. Dude doesn't like us.

Honestly I hope he does turn into a complete idiot with team selections. There's nothing to gain for us having our season disrupted to play under an incompetent coach. Let another club be the scapegoats for poor team selections, no game plans and just being terrible.

He has already declared "Form over Incumbent". Who knows.

When both coaches were announced, the Womens Coach was all smiles cracking jokes and looking happy.
Laurie ,dead pan, had a look of a constipated poo hole.
Poor decision by NSWRL ,IMO.

T & T
Austin Dias
Jackson Edgar
Billy Phillips
David Fale
The last 3 will move up to Dev in 2026. Could be sooner if they impress.

John Sagaga has been training with the top squad too.

Billy Scott is a Dev player. Will be in the top 30 in 26.
Same deal for Toelau.
