Today I learned that of all the officials that have refereed more than 3 Origin games, only 1 of them has a record in favour of NSW. Qld has 6.

No opinion here, that's purely wins v losses. Manson is the only ref with more than 3 Origins who refereed more wins for NSW than Qld. There were 6 refs who oversaw more wins for Qld than NSW.

Well, whoever told you that is wrong. As well as Manson, there is Kevin Roberts who refereed 6 games, 5 of which were won by NSW.

The only refs with a significant difference in Win/Losses in favour of QLD are Hayne, Gommersall and Archer. The other refs are 2/3 (NSW / QLD), or in the case of Harrigan 9/11/1, and there's a couple on 2/2.

Stupid Wiki had Roberts down for only 2 games so I missed it. That makes it NSW 2, Qld 5. Still quite a lopsided number.
