3P signings built the current squad. Lower grades too.
Poo, please don't be arrogant. We were always going to come good at some stage, especially after the past three years for the obvious reasons.

x2Not this bullshit again.
What about the two wooden spoon squads ? Did they build them too ?
Is a good or bad squad built in just a year or two? From what I see, it takes years of work to build a strong squad from a weak one (as Phil Gould said, it would be easier to start from scratch), and years of neglect to turn a strong squad into a shit one.
I have zero connection to 3P, though I believed we needed to improve our recruitment/retention structure back when 3P brought in Kearney, Arthur and Nolan.
I also think it's f**king childish that all you idiots are so keen to find a couple of scapegoats and blame them for everything without giving any credit. Useless, small minded merkins you are.
I still think we have average players who are overachieving under a good coach .

3 straight years of terrible results which really other than some dumb luck should've been 3 straight spoons .
And luckily now we've found two coaches in Holbrook and Arthur who've got our crop of average footballers playing above their weight and all of a sudden Ricky , Nolan and 3P are champion team assemblers and Holbrook and BA are the Stephen Bradburys of coaching.
I agree we have an average squad, and I think we'll finish around the middle of the table. But our best players are generally young, meaning they will only get better. This squad will be very strong over the next couple of years, and hopefully it won't drop off again because of neglect in junior recruitment/retention.

It might go in cycles but those cycles certainly aren't equal. Do you reckon every club has has equal success and failure over the past five, ten, twenty years?
You have too look at it over 1000 years. A team with a few star can stay at the top for usualy 7 yrs.Same as NFL .
So even over a space of 50yrs it is not a long enough amount of time to realy base judgement.
Just like global warming .
