I really enjoyed the 2009 Grand Final (aside from the result).

Totally outclassed in the first 40, we came out on fire in the second 40 and scored some great tries and almost took the win.

ARL 1997 was the best grand final I've ever seen.

That was a great game too. Manly vs Knights two very tough forward packs filled with brilliance throughout and the magic of the Johns brothers vs Toovey, Field and an aging Lyons. Knights had a better set of backs and that's where the game was finally one. Billy Pedden played the best game of his life.

2003 when penrith beat the roosters. They where underdogs and it was great too see the unwanted lang's win it together. Quite emotional.
Especialy when they all where waiting for the field goal and Gower goes left for Penrith to score in the corner

1981 for me, followed by 1989 for neutral GFs.

89 is still the best GF i have seen, 97 was also was a great one maybe because how Manly lost on the bell.

Last years was also great to watch as a RL fan, it's about time two decent non merkin teams made the GF.

86 was the greatest gf I saw, but hardly remember and didn't really care at the time, was only 9.

89 was good but still to young to appreciate

97 was bloody good.

09 , our comeback gave me the greatest pleasure of all gf I have watched.

01 was f**ken terrible , still have nightmares about it. Had to medicate myself at half time with several shots.

13 was pretty exciting as a footy fan

My eldest daughter and I were sitting in the northern stands on the west side around 1/4 of the way up. It was awesome watching Mateo & Fui in the second half (& Hayne sporadically) doing immense damage down Storms right side in front of us. Was screaming and jumping with heart in mouth most of the time. With all momentum in our favour pinning Storm deep in their half, I clearly witnessed the bullshit penalty against Fui in the Slater tackle which blatantly changed the course of the game leading to the Ingliss field goal less than a minute later (f**king conspiracy at play that was - f**king pricks). And then some 4 or 5 months later Storm are outed for the over-the-top cap scandal and the conspiracy against us and all other clubs deepened further and further...... f**king News Limited pricks...... We were well and truly cheated of a deserving 2009 GF :crazy:.

Biased as it was, agreed, it was a great game too. As an impartial viewer last years GF had everything as did 1989 - 1997 was close but not as good as these two.
