We are sitting in second place, with only two losses - both to the 4th place Roosters, against whom we led by 20+ points after half an hour last week.

And this squad is full of 19 year olds. They won't peak until next year. Plus SG Ball were minor premiers. It's all looking good.

Honestly jake, I've never seen this sort of talent in long long time...

There's some genuine freaks out there..

Completely agree, this batch is as good as the 2004 crop. Very very good times ahead if we can keep them!!

Re Tepai, mate the kid is a gun. Brad Clyde all over again!!! And that Davis is a freak. MattO again very classy player. I could go on and on. We have superstars coming through!!!

hey stag could u if possible give me a bit of info on this davis kid, have heard some very good things about him but never seen him play.

thanks mate

He's a long striding centre from Guildford i think but originally came from the north coast I believe, he's very good on his feet and can hit a hole, does lack a bit of maturity and toughness but the potential is definitely there...has some pretty handy bloodlines as he's related to for souths player Paul Roberts

Better than the 04 crop mate, the only decent player to come out there is Blake Green, there could of been others but he was the only real standout

When I say 04 crop I'm meaning from Harold Matts to Flegg. In the matts we had Hayne, trex, kris Keating, Mannah etc etc

SG ball that year we had Blake green

FLEGG we had Tim smith, Mateo etc etc

But I agree this lot (and I can only talk for the NYC as I haven't seen the current SG ball team) are probably better. We will be getting a fair few first graders out of this NYC team.

To top that off we have Jnr Paulo and Ualesi ripping it in the state cup.

I'll just be happy if we have first graders coming through. These kids are playing against other kids, so you'd hope they look good.

But superstars generally play first grade before they turn 20.

Davis is brilliant, just brilliant. Kid has time on the ball. Freak. Persist with Tonga for another season and then bang Davis is in IMO
