So plenty of clubs have announced re-signings so far this year:
Brisbane: Hodges, Parker
Canberra: Edwards, Fensom, Tilse
Lakemba: Graham, Lafai, Mbye, Morris
Cronulla: Graham
Gold Coast: Douglas, Gordon, James
Manly: None
Melbourne: Bromwich, Griffin, Munster, Smith
New Zealand:
Abbey, Bhana, Gubb, Johnson, Kata, Lilyman, Lisone, Lousi, Mannering, Palavi
Newcastle: Leilua, Mullen, Roberts
North Queensland: None
Parramatta: Ma'u
Penrith: Whare
Souths: None
St George: de Belin, Frizell, Stockwell
Easts: Evans
Wests: Cherrington, Hoeter, Nofoaluma, Woods
Obviously some clubs have re-signed more than others. I'd say some big names at each of the clubs with few re-signings (so far) are holding up the rest of the process, as is probably happening with us and Tim Mannah. Expect Manly to re-sign a few young blokes now that Glenn Stewart is confirmed as leaving.
We would probably have a Plan A and Plan B dependant on whether or not Tim Mannah re-signs for the amount we've valued him at. But we need to get a wriggle on, because we have three other members of the top 17 off contract, plus at least a couple of the high performing NYC squad.
It's also likely that we have already re-signed a few of the junior players (including current SG Ball team members) but are saving them for a retention announcement, like the Warriors were forced to do early.
