Agree on Mannah, a very good number II prop but not a pack leader. If he is chasing that sort of cash there has to be better options out there for the money.

Problem is we have far to much tied up in our front row with Mossop,Lussick, Fui and Allgood. And none of them ATM are first grade starting prop quality. Hopefully Mossop is because the rest aren't up to scratch, i'm also not sold on Terepo i think he has been disappointing this year for us.

Gower is one of the few doing his job, i'd be trying to offload Allgood to keep Gower.

Can't throw the house at Mannah. We paid way too much for cayless and it ruined our cap and culture for years.

Allgood won't be on much, and he's a solid defender - something we lack in the middle.

The absolute best thing for our cap would be to let Tim Mannah go. That said, I think Lussick is the most overpaid bloke in our pack, but Mannah is off contract. There's plenty of clubs that would take Lussick off our hands but I don't reckon it would free up much space.

I don't think the club will make any decisions until Mossop plays. If he fires, then Mannah, Allgood and even Lussick are in the firing line.

I think the club wants to retain Mannah. I wouldn't be upset if Lussick was released, he is way overpaid for what he provides. Problem is, is there any decent forwards left to sign?

Fui should be at Wenty now.

Given the rise in the salary cap and the fact the Sharks just paid around $850,000 a season I would think that is reasonable money for a bloke that has played international football.

Our problem is we have spent too much on our backline .

I mean if Hayne is on 1 million and Hoppa 800k Sandow 550k and Norman was around 425k. Who is worth that? I think all are being over paid.

Hayne should be on MAX 700k but he would of milked all he could.
Hoppa is a good young player but not worth anymore than 400k (probably less at this stage)
Sandow 350k and Norman 300k. So there is our problem in IMO. Im going off figures reported.

We can scream allgood isn't good enough etc. But he would be giving us what he is worth.At worse he maybe overpaid by a small amount.Same goes for guys like SIO .

We are very very lucky that Mau-Edwards-Radardra-Gower-Tonga would be on peanuts and playing very well.WELL above what they would be getting paid. Giving us good value. And a lot of young guys probably not on a lot of money who will soon need to be upgraded thou so we need to be smart.
