The one that was looking a certain star before breaking his leg twice. Could probably rival Loko as far as injuries holding back careers go.

Which Sims is he?

Tariq, Younger than Ashton, older than Korbin. Burst onto the scene at the Cowboys on the edge but had 2 bad leg injuries (breaks?) and has come back this year playing in the middle. Going pretty well.

I remember a game where he absolutely tore the other team apart before his first break, think it might have been against the Storm, could be wrong though.

I didn't realize he broke his leg twice .When he first debut he was one of the best second rowers going around. Well apparently we are signing two decent first graders and he is one of them - Anyone else heard this??

He has lost the blockbusting element on the edges that had him talked about as a possible Origin player but he has adjusted well to the middle in 2014 and plays some good, hard footy.

Thumbs up from me if Parra manage to sign him while the other Sydney clubs are caught in the bidding war for Kevin Proctor.

I reckon edge forwards are the most important position on the field, after spine players. This will make them expensive.

If Tariq Sims was an NRL quality edge forward we probably wouldn't be able to afford him either. Anyway I heard we are after Sims but probably won't be able to match other clubs.

I can't believe virtually everyone missed Hayne getting injured. It happened I think on his first touch in the tackle. I also couldn't believe the commentators making stupid remarks about his uncharacteristic bad play because they too weren't aware.

They also missed Peats getting injured when he got flick kicked in the mouth by an attacking player on the ground after making a tackle, as Peats was getting up on the far side of the field.

On Hayne, If you watch him in almost every touch after that first tackle, his left arm is down or he is grimacing after his involvement. Clearly he was hampered throughout the game, which makes his effort to hold up that player(can't remember who) over the line and deny him a try, all that more impressive.

Yep, he was in the back of every shot in that first set of 6 holding his arm down like he dislocated his shoulder or something. I was shocked at the time the commentators didn't even mention it.......

I think they briefly noted his discomfort on that first tackle then ignored it. But.....whether they report on possible injuries to players who play the game out is not exactly a big deal either way for me.
