If you had a choice between Teo and T.Sims for the same money?

For the same money I would take Ben Te'o for sure. He's a better all-round player, and he plays a more important position. Anyway, I doubt Sims would be asking as much as Te'o. He's dreaming if he is.

.....and Mannah.

If we let go of Mannah and a few others we could definitely afford two quality first graders - right edge forward and prop.

But it would be nice to be able to keep Mannah and still improve the team, which we could do if he stayed at the right price.

But we need size Pou and Tariq has that. Even though with the quicker ruck size isn't as important as last year.

Pou, he is class. I'd love to have him. Is he however better value than Sims? Don't we have enough backrowers? Aren't props what we need? I'd take them both to be honest. One thing is for sure Arthur will definitely be in the market for some forwards especially if we let go of Moimoi, Ben Smith and possibly release Allgood.

It comes down to whether we're actually a chance of getting Sims though. Can't put all your eggs in one basket, made that mistake too many times before and ended up with Daniel Harrison.

Hindy111, you need to concentrate on your sex life and getting your mileage points up instead of trying to be the Parra "expert" because Poo is the "only" certified Parra "expert" on this Forum and he has a proven track record to show for it.

I thought we would go better in 2012.

I though Morts would become a quality first grader.

I thought Ben Roberts and Darcy Lussick would turn out better.

I thought Pauli wouldn't be up to defending on the edges.

There's plenty more. I get it wrong as often as I get it right.

Sims has the body shape of becoming a prop in the years to come, he could easily put on another 5 to 10kgs and play well. Sims is the better long-term proposition though I would not knock back Teo either. We need a big powerful prop like Mackendrie and a wide running backrower like T Sims or Teo and then rely on our juniors coming through to fill out the rest of our squad for the next 3 to 5 years.

Is he really that big? I'm sure he's smaller than Lussick and Allgood.

Agree size is less important than last year, and that we still need size anyway. But I don't see Sims offering that much.

We do need a right edge second rower as well as some experience (that isn't already over 30). Te'o offers that, and few others do. The next best option is probably Buhrer, who isn't as good as Te'o.

I'd actually put Moa ahead of Mckendry if we are looking for a prop.
We've got young backrowers coming through who will do a better job than Moa next season (maybe this season if things work out). The Cowgirls clearly reminded us what its like to have world-class props in stock. We need a top shelf prop, Moa is not top shelf - he is ok for 20 minutes or so but we need a big tall wide mature prop who can play hard, tough, smart and can offload in traffic for a minimum of 55 to 65 minutes per game.

Yeah my point was rather that if you have if we have an 80% of signing Teo but only a 60% shot of signing Sims than maybe it makes more sense to go with the former. It comes down to where the players want to go too.

I'm very excited to see whom we let go, whom we keep, and whom we bring in next year.

It's very exciting.

Let's get more excited by putting the cards on the table...

B Smith......... GONE -----
Fui Fui........... GONE -----
Allgood.......... GONE -----

If Gower keeps playing well we must keep him - am very surprised and happy now that we got him.

Who do we get to replace these three motherf**kers?

Trying to get rid of blokes who are on contract is a mug's go. We started that shit in 2009 with Finch and our cap has been f**ked ever since.

Allgood is still contracted here next year. That's a good enough reason not to pay him to play for someone else.

What happened in the past was under the auspice of a bunch of dickheads.
Now we have BA, DA & the SS, therefore Allgood is not needed - Gower now fills that roll adequately. Better to have Allgood play elsewhere for 1/2 the $$$$ than playing for full $$$$$ at Wenty.

It's the least we can do considering we have Lussic on board taking much more of our cap space than Allgood. Anyway, Lussick may improve a lot as a backrower than as a prop.

Next card on the deck....

Joseph Paulo....... GONE --------
