I think the drawcard in joining Parra is the respect that players outside our club have for Arthur. It was a deadset master stroke signing him. Now players want to come and most want to stay.
Agree

They did. We let Inu and Mateo go....Things are certainly looking brighter. Makes you wonder why they didn't do this years ago.

Who wants to come?
I only tell people I can trust and you have at least 4 aliases so I wouldn't now who I was confiding in.

Is it "Do we see him running out there on GF day?"
. The Eels have their own salary cap headaches, but have made fresh moves to off-load contracted players, telling prop Mitch Allgood and another promising forward, to look elsewhere in the past week.

So is this true, have we told allgood and another young player they can leave? Who could it be? Peni is my guess.
I agree with all this, if it can happen then great but if it can't thru cap constraints it'll suck but I can assume that its because we are committed.
Take Sef out of it, I can see why people gets the sh*ts with him and I am not the greatest fan but the role I do like. A lot of players aren't as good as they can be without other players on the pitch so I dont think this makes Joe any worse than most.
Having the couple of big bodies in motion (2nd dummy half and a hit up forward) keeps the defensive line from committing big numbers to forward charges, pushes the creative halves wider into more space, gets our outside backs generally wider than their opposing numbers and the ability to choose from these 3-4 options each time he puts his hands on the ball at pivot. Either Sefa or Matterson has size to not be a liability in defense when we are not attacking and in Matterson's case an additional kicker.
I dont see Matterson pushing Sandow or Norman out next year but I can see Paulo not being retained and Matterson edging closer to this role.
Could be Ualesi or Alvaro.
Anyone else reckon that Watmough is not worth 600k per
Season. According to the Tele that's what Manly are offering. I just think anything more than 400k is a waste as he is coming to the end of his career. 5 years ago he'd be worth big money but he's not the same player. Whilst he's a good player he has slowed up a little and misses plenty of games.
Could be Ualesi or Alvaro.
Any clue on who the other player was that got the tap on the shoulder, Stagger?
