Kelly is our backup for either of our halves so if Sandow or Norman get injured then we have no back up if Kelly is locked in to hooker.This is a good signing in my opinion.

And T-Rex in meant 300k for the first two seasons-Yes 150k each ( but spent one of those in reserves)

As a Sharks fan , I am glad you took IDG off us. Slow as a wet week. When he replaces Morris , there is a big drop off. Morris is no Cam Smith either. I watched last night and thought Kelly did as good a job as IDG could have. Ah well , it's your money. As someone on our forum said 'I thought it was us who signed duds?' Is this deal confirmed?

As Arthur said in last night's presser, we don't play off the dummy half much anyway. We just need someone who can read the play, provide the pass, and defend well in the middle. That's De Gois more than Kelly.

Besides, we have Kaysa Pritchard (currently injured) so De Gois could end up the third best hooker at the club.

Everyone needs backups.

Be interesting to see if eventually De gois starts with Kaysa playing off the bench (when fit).

I doubt De gois will play 80 and I think shifting Sandow, Hayne, Paulo around at dummy half is too messy and one of the reasons we played all over the shop in the 2nd half last night.
