$250k is certainly believable, though it means we won't get much value out of him. He might even be worth that much by the end of this year. How confident are you in that figure?
mate if he hadn't been confident in it he would never have made it up in the first place.
The $250k that Mr Pmatta could have heard is possibly over the 2 years so it could be an average of $125k per year.
Its not unavoidable, its a decision you make and I dont beleive we made it
Some of u are far too seriouse on this sight, I did not say this figure was written "in stone" , honestly some of u just want to argue for the sake of it, no wonder so many forumites no longer post on here.

In contracting a player based upon potential, common sense would dictate the club would pay less than what they believe that potential would likely be worth once realised.
It's always a gamble, the wisdom of doing so can only be proven by having got more right than wrong. Future stars are almost always signed on their potential, unfortunately so are future flops.

PARRAMATTA have emerged as the new favourites to sign Newcastle hard man Beau Scott.
The Broncos, with Wayne Bennett a close ally of Scott’s, were in the box seat to pick up the Blues enforcer in recent weeks.
But the Eels have weighed in with a solid offer and it is one the Broncos will struggle to match given the make-up of their salary cap.
Eels coach Brad Arthur loves an aggressive forward pack and Scott is seen as the perfect foil for the likes of Anthony Watmough and Manu Ma’u.
The deal is a long way from done but it’s looking increasingly like Scott will leave the Knights - and be in blue and gold next season.
