He's been nothing short of impressive for a bloke who's been out of the game for 5 years.

Only gets a one year extension yet Choc and Beau get 4 and 3 years respectively. A little surprising given an assumed affordable cost for Mr Wicks.
It is a bit surprising. Pou will have an explanation.
Umm, yeh. How a forward enters the collision is pretty bloody important (I'm not making a comment on how pretty his running style is ;-) 0. And like a series of young forwards at this club, those who are half-way decent get a lot more attention than they would at other clubs, because we have not produced many top rate forwards in the last 10 years. I'm not saying he can't make it...but he's got a long way to go.
Wicks has been re-signed.
Obviously player and club couldn't come to a money agreement for a longer contract. At his age he is a risk, also given the reduced interchange.
And if we've gotten him to agree to one year I reckon he'll be getting paid pretty well next year. A lot more per-year than we were offering for longer.
I think the extra year was just an option the club took up.
Geez I hope BA has a plan for fullback and centre next year.
Forwards need a rocket up their ar$es but they've shown they can match the best packs (dogs and bunnies) when they're on. Scott to come next year, plus Paulo, Edwards & Pauli who we've missed massively and I think our pack looks solid.
Go hard for A Johnson
