And another thing. Lussick going to the Titans is a good move for us. Wicks can do his job at half the pay and we will have more than enough to upgrade Pauli.

Lussik is a young aggressive prop forward who is heading into the years in which props show their best form. As good as Peats, Watmough, Mau, Tep etc are in setting the tone in defence Lussik is the leader when it comes to bringing the steel to our defence. Physicality in our forwards is a huge emphasis from BA and Lussik typifies this. Why you'd wanna let him walk because you dont wanna pay a little more i cant agree with.

so the consensus is we need to cut Hoppa and get a fullback.

Or cut Sandow, Hoppa to centre and sign a fullback.

Issue is if we cut Hoppa our centre stocks are pretty underwhelming

Lussick > Pauli, at least for the next two years anyway... Pauli's still young and may develop into a beast later on, but he can't crack first grade when we're at full strength.

Though if Lussick leaves it might help us add someone even better to the fr0nt row rotation for 2016...?

... At the roosters..
or the dogs!!!!
On Lussick , I have to say I don't think he has provided a good return on investment. I admire his aggression but he is too mistake-ridden and penalty prone (which I guess go hand in hand)
Chances are he will shine at Robina

Lussick is 24 or 5 and Pauli just turned 20, you would hope he offers more ATM. Letting Pauli go could be a massive mistake IMO, it took taumalolo 3 years to develop into the player he is now Pauli has got more potential than any other forward in the squad IMO.

You have summed that up well.

There is currently no player at the club that I would consider letting go before Lussick, unless Lussick is happy to stick around for second tier cap money.

Well, we will be close to favours for next year.

TheFilthySpammers has a thread when Brent Read has said canberra are chasing hoppa

wasn't it just last week that Hop wasn't going to test the market and stay with us?

Brent Read is the one that said Foran had signed with Roosters

I'd like to hear more about this 'premiership window' we are supposedly moving to.

Big call calls for big balls.

If he is not in the top 5 front rowers in 2 years time, i will quit this site.

Then again, none of you wankers will remember anyhow......win win for hindmarshisgod

Nah - I'd remember. You're quality.

I rate Lussick, but at Parramatta alone, he has Junior Paulo and possibly Tepai Moeroa and Pauli Pauli as competition to his tag.

Just like Watmough, this is a fantastic signing. They are both getting towards the end of their careers and won't set the world on fire.

BUT - they are tough hard bastards who know what it takes to win. We are soft mentally, and have been for years and BA has clearly identified that we need a culture change and he is spot on. No more pillows.
