That article about Arthur reassuring Norman that he still has a place at the Eels is interesting. Why would he feel the need to tell Norman that, unless Sandow is going to be re-signed and is the first choice between those two? I think those wanting Sandow gone are in for a bit of disappointment.

I don't think it's any secret that the club wants to re-sign Sandow, but surely Sandow is worth more to another club than he is to Parra.

We keep selecting JoPau; we paid giga-bucks to a dude two years away from the sport to entice him here; we signed yet another f**king back-rower (albeit an Origin one), when we are getting raped up the guts every week..

Keeping Sandow would be a priority simply because there is nobody better.

He needs a huge kick up the arse, though.

I don't think we can expect consistency from him until his forward pack aims up and delivers consistency themselves.

I don't think it's any secret that the club wants to re-sign Sandow, but surely Sandow is worth more to another club than he is to Parra.

I'm more getting at our perception of things. Norman is contracted for another year and has been going well. On the other hand, Sandow is off contract end of this year and has been getting a bit of criticism. So it's a no-brainer to let Sandow go and everything's sweet, right? But that doesn't appear to be the case, especially given the reports we're signing Sandow again and that Norman needed reassurance that he was still in the club's plans. So maybe within the club the pecking order of our halves is a bit different to how it appears to us outsiders.

Not so sure about that, Norman and Foran would be a better combo IMO. Our defence would iimprove about 30% as well.

I love watching an in-form Sandow play, but I'd happily let him go.

That, or re-sign him on a hugely reduced deal.

Foran's an honest toiler. Norman, well, he's not really anything too specific. Neither of them can kick though. We're gonna miss that if we go with Foran and Norman.
